I did this one back when she would 1 hit you despite 100 resil and resist mods clear across the map. Invis hunter carried hard back then - and I still needed dozens of tries. I did the shreekers with Osteo, the tick dmg really f‘d them up. Didn’t do it platinum because I didn’t had the patience for it after all those attempts, but whatever. Still proud that I managed to do it that way. I think it was the season where Duality came out, because I used that three-burst linear for this one.

The one shot bug seems to be now fixed no longer happens. The osteo bug was really something that was with vorpal really cool great job mate :)

Polaris is a good gun. I was so confounded by the catalyst back in the day, had only 4 of the perfect 5th kills I needed. And the Leviathan cheese wasn't available anymore (and I didn't know about it at the time anyway) so I sat on it. Then a few seasons ago they "gave" it to us and I've been happy about that :) Solar emphasis this season has brought it back into the limelight. Another banger of a video for the current season. Yeah I did the leviathan hub strat. Great times lol. Polaris had a legendary counterpart i wonder what thats even like now. Stasis is actually good but more skill full players are better suited to stasis. You gotta put more work in to get a similar outcome to solar.

Nice run! Solar making everything look easy this season. D2cbro (who created gm.report) said only 3 players have solo'd every GM - Esoterickk, Leopard Stealth, and Nesukun. Wouldn't want any of them to not get the credit it deserves

I did it! Thanks to your awesome analysis as always. I used shadebinder with osmiomancy gloves. There is a small exploit if you can call it that, at the final platform. Behind the 3rd column to the right as you jump up there, you can just chill and the boss won't hurt you. You can sit there and recover or recharge your super or grenades if you used it on the captains, after 1st shield break. That spot only works until she puts up her shield for the last time. After that, she'll just chase you around. Thanks again, Chablo❤

I remember doing Arms Dealer solo back when scouts broke barrier shields. You had used Polaris so I did too. Gun is a beast. Good job on this run!

I love it when youtubers say: "easily solo a Gm". For the average player, it's definitely not easy. I spent 2 weeks trying to solo this GM during season of the deep. I got stuck on the elevator part for the first week. I almost got to the final part during the 2nd week, but I wasn't able to complete it.These videos come in handy, but it's still a lot of work to get a clear for your average player.

amazing run. to clear the dark/light room easily do the following: 1. access the arena from the left side of the staircase and jump on the bridge, the light unstop will spawn either to the middle left or right but it will be right below you. When you spot it get down and burn it. u need to kill it there, the boss will be further back and it will not damage you. How you kill it is up to you. then go back near the entrance, always on the left side 2. when you go to the dark room, the two unstops will spawn at the back left end of the room. if you don't aggro them they will teleport or go the the left stairs. you don't want that. you can quickly run to the left semicircle wall in the middle of the arena and hug it from the outside. the taken boss CANNOT hit you there and if you are far enough the unstops will run to you. you can stun and kill them there. just remember to go near the entrance again before you teleport to the light room, the hive boss can kill you when you are in the semicircle wall. and go back to the semicircle wall when u teleport to the dark side and finish the unstops. you can safely damage both bosses from the stairs as chablo does in the video.

Chablo, as always thank you. Could you see doing this on a solar warlock with the same basic play style and priorities? I'd been doing it in a team on lower level content and it's worked pretty well. I don't have that machine gun but the Dawning machine gun with Incandescent seems to do pretty well in this strike. Thanks again sir! Happy New Year from across the pond.

Warlock is amazing. Dawn chorus day break super cooks. You can do the above very similar to warlock. The worst class this week is titan, it works okay but not on the same level as hunter goldy and dawn chorus warlock. I recccomend solar holster with your LMG, its a nice lmg the dawning one

back in the day corrupted was pretty hard, they really made it far easier! Slowly damage the ogres to get the champs to spawn going back and forth between realms was tough and the boss used to one shot with the arc attack. The elevator still the bane of my existence trying to solo this, I know if I beat the elevator it's a GG but I need more practice. edit: yay I got the bread, a machine gun with incandescent really helps for the elevator! thanks for the tip

Bungie really messed up making strand primaries deal 10% less damage and specials 15% less for strand shotguns and snipers I don’t even have to look at the roles 15% less damage is devastating for them and there is no one that is planning to use a sniper in a build with headstone or hatchling they are damage weapons

Strand and stasis weapons need help. Riptide and signal are very good. But like a stasis sniper is pointless over a kinetic one. At some point they need to narrow the gap.

What's weird is that the boss's health gate's first chunk is not gated. At least not what I could see from esoterickk's run. He pops super right after throwing the first orb and goes well beyond the marker

​​​​​​​​​​@@Chablo91no, it's the warlock run. He pops dawnblade straight away after breaking her shield for the first time. Even I noticed that you can do slightly more damage with the scorch effect of Polaris Lance. But even then, it's not enough to skip a phase like you demonstrated with Golden gun in this video. So your strat of popping Golden gun on second damage phase to skip 2 whole phases is the better strategy. I do think as a whole, warlock is better for your average player like me mostly because of the elevator part and how a rift can really make a difference. IMO. But as I mentioned in my other comment, you can hide behind a column to your right as soon as you jump up to the final platform. This allows you to recover abilities and refresh your mind up to when she puts up her final shield, since the last platform can be so chaotic. So if you're comfortable clearing the elevator part, it doesn't matter what class you use, I guess.

Absolutely not, its more of a Christmas break. I just haven't had the time to play D2. GM's are a quick and easy clear for me, I have the time to make those. As for the dungeon I have no experience at even playing it once. A day of play time would be needed to learn the dungeon, solo flawless it then make the commentary video looking at about 8 hours work which I cant do until after new years. I have watched some runs on it though, But i have to do my own spin on it, I don't do things by half but I can defiantly be late on stuff.

There is something wrong with this GM at the moment as it feels way to easy? Enemy's just fall over and you only need to throw 3 balls at her now to break her shield and sometimes 2 (without passing to teammates) same on the lift bit. The void shield enemies just fall over now they used to be hard as nails to kill,it's a joke in there at the moment. Also you can leave ANY champion for platinum as long as that champion is one that disappears after time,both champs will disappear after time at the start of this GM.

Solo operator is making a big difference. The enemies always did use to fall off the islands. The GM is a shell of its former self. Problem is i wouldn't want to go back to a difficult corrupted either. Before resil buff everything 1 shot and only 2 ppl solo'd corrupted GM when it first came out. Now yeah it's tuned to easy.

Look I'm sorry but these solar builds have ZERO survivability. And with this set up try doin leg lost sector can't even stun the champs. And I'm lvl 1830 the scout rifle DOES NOT STUN champs in time before they totally one shot u when u have 103 res. Run same lostz sector with strand or even void and can run through flawless in less than 4 min. I'm sorry but the build blows.

A piece of advice for you. There are currently 5 elements per class currently. Thats 15 total you have a lot of mastering to do. Golden rule never main one element in D2 this will hold you back
