some stucco on those columns would be nice. Or parge them with some mortar. Just a thought.

Great job and thanks for posting. This gives me an idea of what to do for my yard. I want to create stone pillars for fencing with real river stones.

Great job, I just installed an iron double gate and would like to install Pillars as well. My contractor was saying I can do it with liquid nail adhesive.
@punkrctlw11 ай бұрын
Yeah its rock solid still. The adhesive is very strong and permanent

Looks great. But I am concerned that you only dug down a few inches. I don’t know if you have a frost line where you are but even so I would suggest that 12” down would be the bare minimum with 18” more preferable….

Thanks for the inspiration. Do you have a LinkedIn for the lighted signs? The address signs?

Can you recommend the best way to install the gates? I am in Canada where we have winter so would like to know what power gate system you installed and where you found the best information to build that gate system. I have the same gates as you 14 foot - 2 - 7 foot gates. If you were going to do it again, would you scale to a more heavy post for your gates?

Our gates were installed professionally by the company we got them from. They installed them on super heady steel post filled with concrete put 4 feet into the ground. As for the gate opener. We got the topens ad8 off amazon. Its been very reliable. And we installed a generic wifi momentary switch off amazon ($10) and installed that (very easy ) so we can control the gate while away from home or with google home/alexa
