Usually I am not a fan of the MTG:A matchmaker... but in this case, I appreciate it quite a bit. All I have to do is put maybe two graveyard-hate cards in my deck, and I will never play against a 'graveyard-combo' deck ever again.

We were only told that they don't manipulate ranked play but personally I refuse to believe it. Even the deck shuffling is manipulated in a way to favor giving you lands in your opening hand, you can't trust shit in this game lol

I haven't found this build to be any better than the original UW version without all the control additions, unless you are facing a lot of control in your meta (which can happen, but generally not in Bo1). It loses a lot of consistency when it replaces the cycling cards with counterspells and other control options, and you will tend to find games where you are stuck with the combo in your hand more than you'd like when you cut additional discard/mill outlets like the Prankster, Chart a Course, or Founding the Third Path. I might at least drop No More Lies at the very least for additional discard/mill options.

@alaingamache3908 but I switched to aggro slickshot boros aka mono red with illuminator virtuoso and lighting helix. All prowess creatures with pump spells. Some people call it heroic but I don't play the white protection cards because it's not aggressive enough.

Boros and mono red always played by at least half or more of the player base and terrible decks imo. Just look at the pro tour, they didn't even hit 50% win rates... They get shut out completely by a few early interactions and can only rely on their opponent to either draw badly or face a slow deck and win by turn 3. Will never understand why they're ever popular in the slightest...
