shirking fort made more than a slight comeback. It's seen as much better than aversion right now for bruisers/support builds (medium/heavy). The only scenarios where aversions are better than shirking fort is if you're in light which is generally healers/mages.

are players gear set values normalized in PVP? Do I need to upgrade to 625 on all pvp gear before playing OPR, Areas etc...

It would be a good idea, the 625 gear score is much more important and relevant for pve but if you wanna war or do opr, I'd still highly recommend having 625

yes u can also grind the event and sell them later on for some profit u never know how or when the meta will change in the future these could be worth a lot of gold

I'm finding the wispy wafers doesn't last the full 30 mins. It stops doubling the petals around the 22-24 min. mark. I never did think Shirking Fort was that great. Too situational, "after dodging an attack", 1 v 1 is fine I guess till you run out of stam.. Well, your getting hit all the time from all directions in OPR/WARS so who knows when your going to get hit. Are you gonna hold your finger on dodge all the time for when your stam. comes back? The Aversions are active all the time. No requirement for it and it's only 1% difference. 5% if you have all pieces with it. So 5 pieces of shirk gives 500 (meh)extra on armor of 10k hp...if you dodged at the right time meanwhile your getting hit from more than one guy and your shirk isn't "active".

That's y you goin med build as meta. XD you get more % as shirk fort up to 25 % Dmg red even if u double cc u have the free dodge roll and I basically activated the shrkin fort that's what I understood as for ele and phy ave I have a sec cd ofc depends what role u r required to play assassin for mage I would proly want ele and if bow or any user a mix of both as in front like I do believe shirk fort has a bit the edge in def

If you wear this for PvP you will die. Often. Don't know what it's like on everyone else server but on COS PvP is about 95% elemental or melee dmg you're taking in PvP. Ranged physical defense is non applicable to PvP with the exception of maybe arena situationally

@@bigmacnw I wouldn't even say that. This set is specifically physical aversion. It literally only protects you from 50% of the dmg of bow and musket users the other 50% being usually elemental. If it was elemental aversion I'd have a different opinion. That's bis for light. But it's not even that. Being as at least on my server I have yet to even see a musket user since update and only like 2-3 bow users in say opr, this set literally only defends 50% of the dmg from 2-3 players in an opr. It's not good for anyone

@@Tzar230 idk what server you play on but theres still some muskets and OPR is literally filled with 40% fire staff and 40% bows on my server. Obviously this set is pretty garb if you use it on all pieces but i do think you can use 1 or 2 pieces of it in a build

@@bigmacnw yeah my point is using the set. Not 1 or 2. On COS there is 0 muskets and like 2-3 bow users in an opr. More bows in arena maybe. Virtually none in wars. Fire staff is non applicable because this is a physical aversion set. Like I said if this was all elemental aversion it would be BIS. Like personally I prefer element on all weights with the exception of med. I block instead of dodge in heavy so shirking isn't good for me in heavy and in light elemental is just flat out better. But PHYSICAL aversion set isn't isn't good at all. Maybe 1 but even then probably not since most good bow users split their dmg to half nature so that physical aversion only protects half their dmg even

It helps me a ton, im only dying to bows muskets and bb. I can get peel from my team or evade with my rapier, but there's no peel from ranged. But, i am a healer

Okay. Is resilience really worth it? Reduces crit damage by 4% So if all pieces had it, you reduce by 20%? That’s life or death worth it? I feel like some of the other possible perks are so much better.

it's actually 4.9% per piece so 25% plus 10% from 150 CON bonus so 35% reduction in critical strikes. That is a lot and yes it it worth it even with 3 parts you will notice the difference.
