Great vid, helped me stock up on CDs/Trophies before expansion. I also only started NW back in May and I've gotten a great amount of coin + majority of my major trophies with this. Added onto this by in between my furnishing sessions I'd also use armoring to craft Infused Silk Gloves with all the blisterweave/scale cloth i gained from harvesting and salvaging for additional Infused Silk to use to craft rugs + i get some armoring apti crates in the process making me additional coin and getting me some of the Refining Gear and CDs. I'm baffled (again!). When you came to make the rugs you had 3668 Infused Silk, each of those required 8 Wirefiber, so that's 29,334 Wirefiber, plus 5 required for each rug which is another 1220. Over30,000 Wirefiber, I couldn't farm that much in a solid month of farming nevermind an hour a day! Perhaps there's a secret farming spot somewhere but I can't find it and these things are as rare as hen's teeth to find! I couldn't even buy it, I checked the TP and there is a TOTAL of 7000 infused silk for sale and less than 30k Wirefiber which alone would cost around 40k coin, not really worth it surely?.

Yeah, the numbers don't actually ad up here. He says he crafts around 3500 infused silk - that's 28k wirefiber, 26k silk threads, and 47k fibres with all crafting buffs. Even with proficiency boosters, from my testing on a relatively unpopulated server, this would take around 26 hours of non stop grinding... per week...

yeah I agree with this. maybe it's because since this video dropped Wirefiber has been more contested than ever, but after 2 hours of farming strictly that, trying to bounce between spots hoping to not face contestion, I could only get about 5k wirefiber.

There is one other rug you can use but it is more rare. The key is the number of mats required and the furnishing xp produced. Lesser rugs are not as efficient.

I'm barely making enough rugs after farming to get 1 maybe 2 boxes which covers barely a day of CDs. Is this only possible with having the Brimstone fort and getting 200% yield and having completely uncontested farms?

You have to be 200 furnishing. Then all experience from crafting the rug goes to aptitude levels. Each level nets 3 crates reward every 1/3 of the level.

When you salvage the rugs, you get infused silk back. This method makes far more rugs than you would think because it feeds itself. It's diminishing returns, not infinite, but very valid. Many folks do this when trophy mats and trophies are selling well just for the trophy mats and the cooldown mats are considered an extra bonus, not the focus as they are here. I've made hundreds of thousands of coin selling trophies this way. Not having to farm cooldown mats was a side benefit that I didn't even notice.

After 200 we get 3 aptitude chests per level up in all skills you will see them marked on the skill wheel. All I can say is do one and watch the wheel as you gain for crafting. I would guess that increased level past 200 would also increase needed points to level up 1>2 2>3 3>4 I assume 1 to 2 is less than 3 to 4. I've never watched it that closely tbh.

Is this still reallly worth? Except for the Human Idol, all the rest of trophy mats are worth almost nothing. So unless you are interested and missing furniture schematics, you only get the T5 mats and some azoth. You still need to buy 70 Cinnabar, 70 Tolvium, 70 Smolderhide, 70 Scarhide, etc. every week, roughly 3k gold in materials. This was a good method when trophy mats sold for something, not sure it's so worth nowadays...

I love your videos mate but the numbers don't seem to add up here. 3500 infused silk with all crafting bonuses including FL fort works out to be 28,000 wirefiber, 26,250 silk threads, and 46,950 fibres. If you're implying that you can farm these in "an hour or so" of farming each - we are playing a different video game.

well a few things here, 3500 infused silk is no where near that amount, because of the bonuses you will get while refining, wich is why i said to use the weavers set, I have covered this in many many video's, like its not even half that, the largest investment will be the fiber.. and I said farm each in an hours or so, and in aaan hour you should be able to farm at least 10k if your trying and research and know where your farming kzbin.info/www/bejne/bH2ceax4aLtld9U

If you do take into consideration FL fort + weavers set wouldn't you still be looking at, 21k wirefiber, 20k silk threads, and 35.5k fibres? Which on even an unpopulated server would be 7 to 8 hours with max proficiency boost? I suppose that's why you say you put a day aside! 😬

@@namesynames8412 Yes your numbers are correct for 3500 Infused Silk. He uses 3,668 Infused silk. Assuming you have maximum chance for additional items (33% for T5, 60% for T4, 113% for T3, and 40% for T2) you need to do 2,758 crafts of Infused silk which costs 22,064 Wirefiber, 20,688 Silk threads and 37,008 Fibers. then an additional 5*244=1,220 Wirefiber for the rug craft. I too tested this and was able to get 10k fiber in an hour. So more like 4 hours to get the fibers needed. Then I tried to gather Silk threads which wasn't as easy and only got 2.5k silk threads because they are more contested. that's 8 hours to get all 20k. Now I stopped testing this because it seems my testing was very far from the videos results. My guess is, it would be another 9 hours to get the 22,064 + 1,220 = 23,284 Wirefiber resulting in 21 hours of grinding to get almost 10 mill furnishing EXP. 10 Mill furnishing EXP is exactly 5 aptitude tracks so 5 1-star, 5 2-star and 5 3-star If you look at the loot table for these 15 crates and the results of him opening ONLY 3-star crates and doubt these 15 crates gives you 350+ of each of the 4 main T5 resources.

​@@namesynames8412 ​ @5HeadSurvivalGaming I want to piggy back off this because while I do like this video giving added context to a different method, after trying it out myself I do think it could be a bit misleading on the overall farm time required pending on the server a player may reside on or an individuals playtime window. I can only really play during my server's (Maramma) prime time around 8pm-11pm EDT. I timed myself today for a 2 hour farming session and proceeded to run a few different node routes for each but many are/and were usually contested with at least one and often three players already there camping. In the 2 hours of farming this evening I ended around a bit over 2,000 fibers, around 500 silk, and 753 Wirefiber. This was using music buff's Fortune's Favor, and a T3 (7%) booster (I'll admit, using a T5 (15%) booster would have achieved higher for sure.) I crafted the seafoam rugs with Monarch's fort buff but this only netted me 1/2 of a Furnishing aptitude level. === Method's cool and may work- but precedented with the amount of time required for most players to farm up the three fiber types will likely need to be much more than 3 hours to accomplish similar results unless they are highly uncontested when farming. Because this didn't net a single aptitude crate, it resulted in a loss of nearly all dailies (minus phoenix) versus completing a few in the same given 2 hours. === I do appreciate the videos though! I'll keep giving it a go on a few different days of the week just to see if certain days are farmed more than others in my servers case.

I think so, but its all personal pref, for example it is the best way to complete furniture schematic collection, and making coin fro mthe schematics is actually quite good if you hit the right ones, so there is a gambling aspect to it, but low risk.. worst case you only get your mats, best case you make 300k

As with everything, the "best" thing to do will change as server prices change. If trophy mats and trophies aren't selling for much and infused silk is overinflated, it might make more sense to sell the silk, but then again, the other mats might be over inflated as well. You have to evaluate your market and make informed decisions.

nope I didnt, the total mats I got from the 6 would be enough to last a week +, the amount of mats i got opening was sig more.. you see what I do is I farm on alts, I send mats to my main crafter, I make aptitude crates, I then put aptitude crates in storage, and open as needed.. I only do openings like this for Broll, the reason is simple, aptitude crates take up very very little storage space, So if you leave everything in aptitude crates and stock them up a few here and there, you eventually end up with hundreds of crates, that you know are full of needed mats , without struggling with storage space

ive been playing since beta this method is news me, i used to farm for my mats but lets be honest its a huge waist of time so what i normally do everyday i craft 5 runeglasses on my server certain ones sell for 3-6k per, the cost to make them is about 2K and every day i sell all or maybe just 3-2 but i use this money to buy my mats. moral of the story is id rather spend 10 min crafting a item that will cover the cost of my daily's and make some extra coin im a PvPer and farming in-between games is possible but really inconvenient so ive been doing this since BS launch hasn't failed me yet, hope this helps someone.

Bots on Lilith are greatly reduced. I see a few fishing bots now and again, but not nearly as many or as consistently. It's one of the reasons material prices are so high.

Pretty certain this pushed the Schematic from 5k to 20k on my server...I checked 8 hour after this vid was posted but decided not to buy the schematic as my furnishing was only 100 at the time. Fast forward another 12 hours, my furnishing is 175, and the Schematic all sold out. Next day, 20k for Schematic. Maybe its this vid, maybe its greedy idiots. Who knows

if you have good routes, and stack the correct bonuses, you can farm 10k of any material in the game per hour , if not you need to focus on getting the right bonuses lined up

You do realise this is content for a game that is hemorrhaging players every month and no one is playing this game. Any day of the week any hour no one is playing content becasue the entry level to these activities are too difficult. When this game was hugely popular the difficulty for many activities was ramped higher and higher now those players have moved on. Any casual gamers reaching level 60 will bounce off all these activities even if can find someone else doing them. Hence everywhere the 60 cap often is 61 to 66, a cheap way of increasing difficulty during the games heyday. Take the main quest which terminates in shattered mountain which is elite level 60 plus one shot five team nightmare which once had 20 to 30 players doing this and still has the difficulty to match. NOW NO ONE SEEMS TO BE PLAYING THIS GAME OTHER THAN PLAYERS IN THE TOWNS At this rate the game will be dead in a year or two becasue they will not be able to keep new blood and the old blood has moved on. This game needs to adapt or die.

Game is easy as fuck and dying cause of it. Considering with other games like Wow, Osrs, Uo and yeah if you can level 60 in 1 day and, max every tradeskills in 3 days (considering you will farm some money or mats otherwise its 1 day...), max expertise in 1 - 3 days... Well what kind of MMO is this that you can max everything - EVERYTHING- in 1 week!? Lack of endgame content and easy accomplishments are reason why this game is dying.
