SUPER EASY Neon Outline Effect | Davinci Resolve Tutorial

Learn how to make an animated neon outline effect in Davinci Resolve!
Stick around to the end for a treat.
I've seen After Effects tutorials for this effect but not any for Fusion, so I decided to try it. This method is semi-procedural, so no keyframes are needed for the outline!

When I went into Fusion there were two MediaIn nodes. One was the footage of the dancing guy, the other was the green screen shot. To keep things from getting confusing, I renamed them. You can do this by either hitting the f2 key or by right clicking on the node and selecting "rename". I named the footage "OG footage" (OG stands for original), and the green screen "green". You don't have to organize your nodes, but it's a good habit to get into.

Great video. Can you do a video using this footage on how get a good mask with magic mask? So far all my attempts with magic mask have failures using anything that has fast movement like that dancer. That website you recommend seemed to have no problem. The main reason I bought the studio version was for the magic mask and it has been a utter disappointment so far, unless I'm using it wrong.
