Very good tutorial, I always learn something new with your tutorials even though sometimes I feel I already know I to do some of them, you use techniques and functions I wasn't aware of in Gimp. One tip, if your logo is flat, you can import it in Inkscape and convert it to vector and resize it to pretty much any sizes without loss in quality. As long as the design is flat, without gradient or very small details it'll look perfect. I'm more comfortable in Gimp than Inkscape so when I create my logo I use Gimp and then convert them in Inkscape. Easy and free! ;-)

Hi, I'm back, having another attempt at Gimp after a few years. I have followed everything you have said up until you said, Alt & click on the inner circle. I did this in order to remove the bottom mountain, and I should have had the option to shrink the inner circle. Shrink isn't an option. It won't let me. Just wondering if I've missed something? I'm running the latest version of Gimp 2.10.28. Instead what I did was create another circle and aligned it to the original inner circle and used layer mask to get rid of the bottom. Am I the only one who struggles with this? Thanks man
@iamo2 жыл бұрын
Hey! So I had a similar problem, I solved it by using Fuzzy Select Tool to select the inner circle. Then I right-clicked the mountains layer and clicked "Add Layer Mask" and it worked :) I hope this helps even tho it's been 2 months now

Is it just me or does his Udemy course get more expensive each video?
@DaviesMediaDesign5 жыл бұрын
Lol that’s Udemy - they run different sales so the price displays on their end differently each recording. If you use the coupon codes in the link (assuming I’ve remembered to add them for the video) the course is a lot cheaper than Udemy‘s price
