great video.. got me most of the way there. my model is a little different and the back panel is one piece with the grill on the back. i can't bend it to get it around the freezer slide tracks so i need to remove the slide tracks too. i am using the evaporator fan portion of the video

This video was perfect for me. Pretty much my refrigerator and have not seen any better. I saw another video that had you pry out the guide that the door stop is locked into. I was able to loosen that screw and do that. I don't think I could have done it otherwise. I do have a question though: Where is the return air from the refrigerator back to the freezer on this model? Cold air comes out of the ice maker and a little at the top of the air tower. Is the air tower the return air or is is somewhere / thing else? Thanks again.

It doesn't look to us like the refrigerator and freezer share cold air on this model. The air return for the ice maker looks to be shown at 3:08 on the left side.

Very blessed to have found this video for my Whirlpool WRF767SDHZ04. While I have ordered from you folks before with great success, it's not something I have to do often. My issue was a noise that appeared to come from where damper in fridge and freezer evap fan would be. Once freezer parts were removed to access evap fan and fridge parts to access damper, I found the noise was indeed the damper that was making a somewhat cranking sound as the damper door opened/closed. Removed damper out of it's holder and with door switches taped shut, I could still see and hear the damper motor making it's noise when it rotated open to close. Have ordered damper assembly from you folks for later use....PART# PD00056007 MFG# WPW10479155. Thanks again for wonderful video.

The voltage should be printed on the sticker located on the auger motor. The triple water valve sends water to upper ice maker, lower ice maker, and the water dispenser.

Thanks for the detailed processes. Very well done. This is the model I have and it has been a major POS. Thermister went bad 3 months in. Then lights started burning out. Then the upper ice maker stopped functioning, Now it intermittently stops cooling every couple of weeks. Unplug and it resets for now. Astonishingly poor component quality.

Sorry to hear about all of the trouble that you have been having with your refrigerator. Let us know if you are able to determine the cause of your intermittent cooling issue and what the fix for it is.

@@PartsDr I will. I have a few ideas. When it fails, a rhythmic clicking sound accompanied with no lights, no cooling. The clicking is from the LR side, when looking from the front.(opposite from main board on right side) Maybe a relay failing or not receiving proper voltage. Or maybe a water valve. I did a simple visual inspection of the main board hoping for a swollen cap or evidence of overheating. Nothing found. It might be a problem with the display too. When it happens next time, Instead of unplugging the whole fridge I think I'll unplug the display and re-connect to see if I get the same result. We'll see 😉

@@PartsDr I put my hand on the compressor during the fail mode to see if I could feel the vibration from the clicking sound. This test convinced me that it's higher up. Very much appreciate your guidance. Thank you.

See the two videos linked below. It sounds like your water inlet valves are both bad and leaking. To verify they are bad, unplug the refrigerator. At 15:03 at the right, there is a grey square paste packet. What is that called, and what is it supposed to do? I opened my fridge, and some of it dripped onto the fins below.

It looks like it might be thermal mastic. They usually put it there to keep refrigeration noises down.

I have this same fridge and it started making a loud fan sound I thought it was coming from the top but after watching this video I didn't see a fan above the lights and that is where I thought the sound was coming from would you have an idea of what it may be, it has stop now but my ice makers aren't making as much ice now, thanks in advance

@@PartsDr I replaced the blower fan but I do not believe that was the problem is there a fan on the back wall, I was thinking more of a fan not a blower fan. We are smelling a smell like a electric motor going bad smell
