Thats strange the S7 is a newer device and is supported by Smart Switch unless its fake. Its either Smat Switch for newer devices or kies for older ones. Why do you say its not supported?

I bought a Samsung 8s on offer up it worked fine for a day and a half , then on my screen said this phone has been reported stolen and is blocked, so I went to cricket and said nothing I had to get a hold of hold samsung. And the tech factory reset but not the problem. Then he said to tack to any Samsung dealer No help there either. Is there any way to get it to work I'm out 500.00 dollars other wise?

I downloaded smart switch and i do not have the option for device initialization. I only have emergency software recovery but it is asking for recovery a code? where do i get that? What version of SmartSwitch are you using and can you share the installer? it seems that the new versions does not have device initialization anymore. Hi please help me , my phone is samsung s7 edge i have deleted my pictures by mistake and wanted to get them back , so what i have done is downloaded dr wondershare to recover data. My phones was downloading for ages so i have disconnected my phone but now is in download mode , i have tried all steps to bring it back but nothing is working i can only see samsung logo flashing with blue little light flashing in the corner , there is no way to bring it back i dont know what else i can do . Unfortunately i am on holiday for nearly a month i so cant take it to get fixed :( i am desperate to get it back without loosing the rest of my data . Odane busshead .......Can you get into download mode now. Plug your phone into a computer, let it charge a bit then hold down the power + home + volume down button. This video shows you how. Do you have a computer or laptop.

I find it funny that in all these video tutorials they use a functioning device that they just power off, that's easy that way... Why don't you use a boot looped/soft bricked phone? Well I wish it was that easy, my Galaxy s4 mini is boot looped and gets stuck in Samsung starting logo, I try Kies but it doesn't connect, it says connecting... but never does. I tried Odin, it shows the green led saying pass, it shows fhe blue led saying reset, but when I select restart system in the recovery screen, it doesn't work, is till bricked on the Samsung logo... I'm getting seriously pissed off with Samsung and Android
