Brilliant to get the hook up at around 6 minutes on the drone and to see the fish run. Your camera work is really impressive. Thank you for sharing it with us, looked like a perfect day.

Interesting to see that the best days in fly fishing are not determined by the size of the fish one catches. Lovely video Gareth, excellent videography transmitting your impressions of the day - easily one of your best videos

Another great video, Gareth! I finally got to catch my first trout of 2023 on a small creek in North Georgia. Nothing like the amazing scenery and big browns you've got in New Zealand. But, at least I'm not just sitting at home watching your videos 🙂 Keep the great content coming!

There is actually 3… 1 is left and 1 right of the fish. It’s very common in this river to have 2 or 3 to choose from.

What a stunning video in a beautiful scenery! And those healthy brownies! The water level seemed a bit low but that did not prevent the ectivity of the fish though. What a day indeed.

Hmm, when you have quite a bit of line out why not just hit the edge of your reel with the palm of your hand to spool it back on since it goes a LOT faster than reeling it on, no criticism just a practical question.
