All your Videos have a distinguished vibe to them. But the Videos with you and Hailey riding together have a special vibe that really sets them apart from all your other work. All your Videos are good, but watching both of you riding together just makes me happy. Because you are happy. All the best to both of you.

Hailey should start a channel! I could watch her more relaxed rides and dream of possibly getting to that level. There is no way I could ever get where Phil is with just getting into mountain biking at this age. Probably could never get to Hailey's level but a man can dream, right?

Glad i skipped Whistler this year. Plenty of great BC parks to explore (Sun Peaks, Revelstoke, etc) ... I'll go next year when the Fitz lift is spinning.
@SkillsWithPhil11 ай бұрын
The main lift being down definitely sucked, but it was not bad all things considered. Whistler is fun because of everything going on and not just the riding. The riding is what obviously draws people to the area but in my opinion, is only a small part of what makes it such a great experience.

Hi Phil, love the channel and the bike! I actually picked up at GT Force Carbon Pro last season and I love it! Only question I have for you is, why is your bike so quiet??? I get that you have a silent hub but my gt sounds like it has a lot of chain slap.

Random question but early in the video I noticed a sound I get on my bike around turns, it’s like the disc brake is just tapping something and making a metallallic noise. Does anyone know what that is and if it’s fine?
@HarryL202011 ай бұрын
Check your Axels are tight, or any wheel play like bearings ect. otherwise it's probably just the rear linkage/triangle flexing a little and you have almost no pad clearance which is nothing to really worry about.
@nikounourbakhsh843311 ай бұрын
@@HarryL2020 ok, actually after posting this I realized my front wheel was loose. I built the bike and didn’t realize my 38 has a pinch bolt on the through axel so that’s probably why it kept coming undone and making disc noises. Thanks for the reply!
@HarryL202011 ай бұрын
@@nikounourbakhsh8433 no worries, also have a 38 here and yeah loosen the pinch bot, tighten the axel, cycle the fork a few times, and then tighten the pinch bolt. Should be set for that specific wheel forever since it's a floating axel system which accounts for wheel manufacturing tolerance/ inaccuracies.

What happened to the shoulder?
@SkillsWithPhil11 ай бұрын
Literally no idea. It just progressively felt weaker as the week went on, especially hard impacts. I'm assuming it was a result of over use or strain, because there wasn't any single even that caused it. But in (almost) 30 years I've been riding, these things pop up from time to time, and usually go away on their own.
@PantherBlackAudiRS11 ай бұрын

The constant riding and traveling was catching up to me. By the time we got to Whistler i was pretty exhausted from being on the road.
