I'm always encouraged when I see you interacting with your children. I feel frazzled everyday and often respond not with kindness towards my five children (ages 8 down to 2). Something I'm praying about daily. My oldest 2 are doing AO Y3 and Y1. I'm going to take a look at the "must not miss" books on your blog as I feel we have too big of a feast. I'm finding it challenging to spread a feast and not have it take all day with 3 littles in the mix.

Thank you!! I think all of us moms try to do too much at one time or another. I sure did as a new homeschool mom. When I let go of that and found a good rhythm for us, it brought so much peace. I can relate to your struggle having been there myself! I hope you find something that works well for you and the kids!

In one of your videos you mentioned that every time you add a new baby, it takes 6 months to a year to get back into it. My fourth born is currently 5 months old and I’m the most tired I have ever been. It is a struggle for me to do a SINGLE thing beyond what’s absolutely required. If you could speak into this into more detail in a video it would be so encouraging for me! Because there’s this confusing balance of having grace for the season of life, but also needing to push through sometimes too.

I sympathize with your comment because I have been in that exact stage so many times. I did a video of about homeschooling with an infant that would probably speak a lot to some of your questions. I think one important thing I learned after several babies is that that season where you can't get anything done goes by so quickly though at the time it seems like it will never end. I would say push through and work hard when you get the little windows of opportunity, but when your hands feel tied, remember that taking care of your kids IS getting something done. Here is the video I did about homeschooling with an infant. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYiTmXiKqNOlZpIsi=EAqmyQI3BTS8cJ3s

Thank you Sheri for this video :) I was wondering, does the checklist stay the same for the whole year or does it change throughout the year for certain things? For example, I see that on your eldest daughter's checklist there's only geometry regarding maths. There's no algebra for instance. Does this change or does she only study geometry this year? Thank you.

I may need to tweak her checklist after we get going if we see things that need to change, but for the most part, it stays the same all year. She is enrolled in a high school Geometry co-op class, so that will stay the same all year. She did Algebra last year. I hope that answers your question!
