@@MikeLimTravel Then I want that for you as well. I appreciate your calm demeanor. You are not putting on a personality that doesn’t suit you, you seem very natural, and authentic. These days that’s a rare thing. When it came to the food, you pointed out things that would be important, and of interest to the average diner which is probably your target audience. In this era where franchise restaurants dominate the culinary landscape, my husband and I love hearing about independent restaurants; especially those that have stood the test of time (as we have age 70, and 61). May God be with you, guiding your steps as you pursue your dream reviewing restaurants. Dude, I love Harry’s Hofbrau in the trick is you season your own food because there are a lot of elderly that come in. Enjoy meals there. So that’s the reason why the food is not season for dietary needs of others. There’s plenty of condiments for you to season your food on the table, salt, pepper, audit, flavored mustard, ketchup, etc. etc..
Ай бұрын
Great advice...makes sense. Thanks!
@DB-xo6xhАй бұрын
That was exactly my thoughts. That’s how I cook. I was a chef for years and I don’t season my food like I would in fine dining. When I’m cooking for young kids and older folks, the younger adults need to add that extra salt if they want to. I dont want the older crowd to think the food is too salty or spicy.

Use to go to San Jose location at least once a month, it was the only place in SJ that you could get late night eats after Garden City and the Cardinal/ Red Coach Inn closed. You could venture downtown to Original Joe’s or one of the casinos but the cost was more. The last time I went to the Redwood City location I was very disappointed in the prime rib , especially since I bragged about Harry’s restaurant to my guest’s I took there, it may have been because they were packed that rainy night about a year ago. Use to go to the San Lorenzo location after Raiders games, I think out of the three that location had the best food.
