Another great vid with fantastic photos. I appreciate that you only include the main bits needed to tell the story of the forth coming shots and no waffle.

Many thanks, i do appreciate that, its a challenge of how much to keep in a video, I could easily make the videos twice as long, but I do try to keep them moving without getting too boring (hopefully!).

Many thanks Peter, it was a bit of luck the camera stopped the train where it did, my camera has quite a slow burst rate, so the train does travel quite a distance between shots.

Another great informative video. Clever little tricks in photo shop. Love the way you plan all these shots. It must take some time to get all this together. Oh by the way, love the wellies.

Thanks, Keith, the wellies are new, hopefully stopping me bringing home half of North Yorkshire on my walking boots. There wasn't so much planning on this one, I kind of made it up as I went along, however some photo trips I do quite a lot of planning.

Wonderful work Andrew. The mono image of the half way signs perfectly aligned and the Azuma is outstanding. Really interesting and informative and creative. Great work as always 👍😊

I came down the ECML today from Edinburgh and wondered if you'd ever thought about the stretch north of Berwick where the line hugs the coast for several miles? It's great seeing how you think about the shots you take. Very inspiring.

Many thanks, Adrian, the stretch just north of Berwick is on my to do list, I travelled up to Scotland last year and did a bit of scouting, hopefully I get to it this year. Glad you found something useful in the video.

Another excellent video......btw Andrew, what camera do you use on the video recording shots ?

On this video I used my old DSLR a Canon EOS70D and a DJI pocket for the time-lapse shot, I sometime films bits with a phone too and edit it all together.

@AndrewShenton I think you have named the camera that you use when you take photographs of these amazing trains but what camera do you prefer if you use different ones?
@AndrewShenton Жыл бұрын
For all my photography I'm currently using a Canon Mirrorless EOS-R which is now nearly 4 years old, so I'll be looking for a replacement at some point, I use a selection of cameras for video.
