Great walk, looks nicely shaded. Would be interested in seeing a walk along the disused train line you mentioned, always interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Andy, glad you liked it too. On these warmer days I often head for the woods for the shade. I've got a few walks lined up and I'll do that walk later in the year I think. There's a few railway walks I can do after that as well I think. Thanks for watching!

Amazing views Rob. Yes would be interested in seeing the walk along the Tipton to Sidmouth ex railway line.

Aylesbeare Common is lovely and a decent circular in its own right. Extremely muddy in places at the end near what was the Halfway Inn. Thanks for sharing your walks, we're always looking for inspiration.

I love that whole area leading through to Woodbury Common. Luckily it was nice and dry this time. So glad you enjoy my videos and find them useful.

I often wonder what is on peoples minds when they go for such lovely walks. I often wonder who walked that area before me. I’m Métis and I think about the migration of people who are just following the trails for the seasons and food.

I also think of why and who trod these paths in the past. There's evidence of quite a few settlement here for at least 10,000 years. Maybe I'm walking the same paths and enjoying the same scenes as they once did. Thanks for watching.

This looks a perfect walk for me and the 🐶. Great looking section of the east Devon way. Was there much livestock about in the fields at the moment?

Just past the Harpford bridge some cattle with calves, they were on the far side of the field and I had plenty of space to cross towards the woodland section. It was the only part with cattle. But you can easily bypass that field by heading towards Newton Pop after crossing the bridge and turning right before the recreation ground along Back Lane. Quickly you'll see a footpath on your right which will get you back on the East Devon Way. It's not far and would only add 10 minutes to the walk.
