It's so nice to see someone make pottery on the wheel and to see their hands so full of slip, mucky, to see their face so up close to the piece. I pot this way and I think so many of us do. I know lots of potters are cleaner than others. It's just that when I see all these folks today on instagram and KZbin their hands are always so clean - it feels so antiseptic that it sometimes comes off feeling inauthentic. Potting is all about getting your hands dirty and I truly appreciate its depiction here.

That last shot inside the kiln is beautiful - the interaction of all the curves.

I think Henri would be proud of this guy. "Put your head down and go to work." I can clearly hear that sentiment echoed in Henri's work.

Good looking wares. I like how you showed a goof up as well as successful pots. I've been at it over 20 years and a day's never gone by when I don't screw something up.
