Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway - Episode 68 of Miniature Railway Britain.
We travel to Eastbourne on a Southern Class 377. At the 7 1/4" Gauge Railway we travel behind Hymek D7042 Eastbourne Herald and see some steam locomotives including 4472 Flying Scotsman.
We then explore the site, enjoy see the N Gauge Model Railway in action, have fun in the maze and enjoy a pleasant walk around the lake.

Its nice Henry I have been to the railway when I was young visiting my cousins and had a ride behind The Schools Eastbourne, Black 5 and the Hymek so Iam planning on becoming a member of the line and hopefully get a chance to drive one of the locos. I like the idea of Flying Scotsman coming to Eastbourne the full size one better pitch the idea to Railway Touring Company so they could arrange it and ask Eastbourne Miniature to bring their Flying Scotsman to the main line bit so they could pass eachother and whistle too

Thanks Henry, what a great little railway. My friend and I visited this gem in 2018 when we were on a trip to the uk. From Australia that took in many of the railways both heritage and miniature railways. This video brought back some wonderful memories of that trip.

Excellent video of the miniature railway north of Eastbourne Henry 👍 Been to that railway years ago and I haven’t returned to visit the railway since. I’m planning next month to do miniature railways and the one I’m thinking of going to the one at Oxford which looks is fantastic to visit.

Cheers Henry, have seen this railway over the years advertised, but never visited and is currently on the list of railways to visit in future. Nice layout, think could be honestly longer in my opinion, maybe could see an extension project happen in future here? Maybe onto those marshes? Loved the tunnel, one thing I love on miniature railways, makes journeys more adventurous. Also has a nice interaction with main line, would be nice for plants to have a trim, so you could see trains bit more clearer? Be better I think especially for passing trains passing nearby. But nice video, enjoyed. Have shared and Liked and look forward to seeing more vlogs soon. 😀👍

Thank you very much for watching and sharing. It would be nice to see the line extended but I don't think it will be across the marshes. If anything, maybe a branch down the drive to those arriving by bus don't have such a long walk!

@@HenrysAdventures Thats ok, really enjoyed, yeah noticed on Google maps there is no bus stop nearer, so yeah be ideal if extended there, also would love to somehow if not see railway expanded up to Hampden Park Station? Probs likely won't happen, but could be worth consideration? Can see this miniature railway potential for future especially with activities etc. But yeah, be interesting future for them. :)
