Have you even lived the military life honey. Do you even understand how much cheating goes on by those deployed as well?! Its not most common that wives left at home are cheating while husbands are deployed. Or husbands cheating while wives are deployed. And do you know the amount of abuse that goes on behind closed doors of military families?! Or the amount of rapes while deployed and in military training?! (My parents have been married for almost 40 years.... and im a military brat. Ive lived the life, ive seen and heard things many shouldnt have since my mom was a military police officer before being medically discharged with an aneurysm.)

But I don't understand why you decided to take a shot at me with your comment when your basically saying the same exact thing. Do you know how many service members come home to nothing because their wives left them for Sancho? And to lose their kids because mom brainwashed the kids to her side while their father was overseas. Well I know plenty of them. And yes it happens to women deployed aswell. I had three married friends come home after deployment to that exact situation and commit suicide because of it. So next time take a sec and think. Wow this guy is right this women did something so extremely positive with her time while still being both mom and dad while her husband was deployed.

You starting off right in your comment but then you killed it. It's hard to be a military wife. They should be celebrated because it has to be hard not having her husband for long periods of time and raising children mostly alone. You can't imagine the stress and sadness they go through and have to put a smile everyday for her children so they know they have a great dad and a strong mom to be there for them. So give them some credit instead of putting them down as if they are the problem. It take 2 to make a marriage work.

Youre mostly alone doing everything and when they are home you still dont get a break bc they are winding back down in civilian life and you want them to be able to relax. My husband works HARD and is literally drained when he comes home so Im picking up all the pieces. All while working multiple jobs and primarily the one raising the kids... lets not even talk about the impact on the kids witb dad not being around a lot and missing so many important things. I have to prep them for another long deployment all while living in an area with no family and minimal friends.

The fact still remains that we live in a society where every special moment apparently must be documented for all of social media to see. Everything is done for views, liked and attention and that's not me being judgmental that's clear to see lol. Her husband comes home and she greets him with a camera in his face to show off the house and his face for social media. I'm not impressed. For all the soldiers that comes and we don't see their homecoming on social media...those are the wives that truly care about their husband and want nothing more than to spend time with him.

As a recently remarried mom of 2 teens, now with a grown step-son, deployed in the military I could relate to this on many levels. My husband and I bought home and moved in together with my kids the weekend after our wedding several months ago. My kids dad and I don't get along and haven't the 11 years we've been divorced. Most of those years I spent single and lived in the same place until moving with my husband 30 minutes away. We both thought about my kids when buying a home. Their rooms, their space, their comfort, their privacy and friends. My husband included a budget from his home sale for the kids to get entirely new room decor and furniture so they only had to bring with them what they wanted from my mom's house, where we'd been living for over a decade. Until I heard in this video, "She's been at her dad's all week", I wouldn't have known this wasn't her dad. She's looks very confident and independent but I sense like my own 16 year old daughter that reserved side indicates she waits for and hopes for approval, because it's important to her, and so is he. Our new home is overlooks the water also and while I don't think the kids can fully appreciate it and what it takes to achieve that in the crazy world of real-estate, it will help keep peace and calm in your home and family. I pray for you a life as beautiful as your home and children. Thank you to him for his continued service to all of us and to the rest of you for your daily support to him making it possible.

Just watched this (6/8/22) & I just have to tell you, not only am I PROUD of you, I am PROUD of your husband's reaction! 🤩 The backstory: Over a decade ago, an internet writer friend recommended that I read one of her favorite Christian book authors, Erma Bombeck, the kind that writes 30 short chapters of funny &/or poignant episodes from her life. One was something about her so-called "Carpenter genes." Apparently they had a back patio that they couldn't use, because it was always exposed to the blazing sun & was too uncomfortable. So one day her "Carpenter genes" kicked in & she decided to build a covered patio with inexpensive materials on hand & she even strung up some lights, etc. so they could use it at night. She even set up a table out there to surprise her husband for dinner that evening. Everything was beautifully done & Christian hubby came home & exploded with anger & started yelling at her about how embarrassed he was that she had done such a terrible terrible thing! 😳 She repented in tears & promised never to do something so awful ever again. Then she dragged some Bible verse out of context to "teach" the ladies reading that they should never ever indulge their "Carpenter genes" to show up & embarrass their husbands, because that's PRIDE (gasp horror!) I tell you what, I threw away both the book & the internet friend. What a bunch of hogwash & I'm SO GLAD & feel you are SO LUCKY to have such a wonderful husband! Blessings to all of you! 🤍🕊🤍
