Across the Bay in a Day 2010 "Paddle as a Pod"

Across the Bay in a Day 2010 Hampton Pier to Portarlington "Paddle as a Pod" - Port Phillip Bay Melbourne Victoria. This 35.5km adventure took us 7 hours. We had 16 participants from East Coast Kayaking and the Victorian Sea Kayaking Club (VSCK) plus members of the public.
Due to a large high pressue system we had light NE tail winds and a flat glassy bay.
Thanks to all members of the pod for making it an unforgettable paddle. I hope to see you all next year 14/5/2011.
Next year participants will need to have undertaken the East Coast Kayaking Sea Starter course and Beyond Basic or be a member of the Victorian Sea Kayaking Club.
