Never liked Pauline, always whinging and whinging pushing Martin in a sense to go off the rails slightly, it was obvious he would rebel. Keeping this from him about Mark was another reason why Martin had had enough as he felt like he was always in the wrong. But these scenes show that Pauline actually has a heart in there somewhere.
