When he arrived on EastEnders, Rudy Walker did not just break down all the racial barriers. No, no, no... He shattered all of those barriers into millions of pieces. It is well known fact that Rudy is heavily involved in writing Patrick's dialogues and has complete creative freedom over Patrick's numerous solo scenes. Alot of Patrick's history before arriving on Albert Square, are actually based on Rudy's own family and personal history on Trinidad.

They didn't want to arrest him. They only wanted him to move the car because Paul said he switched the car with charlie (which was on a double yellow line.). He assumed he was getting arrested (like anyone else based on how it sounded), and flipped, and maybe arrested for that? He never got cuffed or cautioned though, so idk.
