It was so nice to see Nick Berry on EastEnders after all those years. This was his first appearance since his departure from the show in 1990.

This was first appearance of Simon Wicks, played by Nick Berry, since his departure from the show on 27 December 1990. He was mentioned quite a few times in between, though.

I wish he had made a longer appearance in that episode. Would have been interesting to see him reunited with Ian and appearing onscreen opposite David Wicks.

Simon and David Wicks were half brothers. Pete was David's father whilst he wasn't Wicksy's. David was Ian's half brother.

Wicksy would be a great adversary for Ian, as a business and love rival (he use to go out with Sharon). It doesn’t matter if Nick Berry is retired, just re-cast the actor like they did with Michelle. Maybe the producers of thought about this now that Max Branning is leaving.

I stopped watching Eastenders in the 90s. I'd watch again if Simon returned. There's definitely a storyline there, with Sharon still in the square. I thought Nick was one of Eastenders' finest.

What the hell i don't remember this. I had no idea the famous simon wicks returned. I only watched eastenders for the last 8 years but heard so much about the Wicks brothers. Despite David refering to him, the two brothers have never been on screen together, i wonder when that will finally happen.

@TheUnhivedTRUTH In that case why bother commenting or even visiting. You are so obviously far intellectually superior to everyone else so I'm sure you must have more important things to do. ( I suggest, in order to keep up the 'intellectual' façade you check your posts for spelling mistakes before posting)
@SteveBell194213 жыл бұрын
@TheUnhivedTRUTH All very pompous and condescending. I wonder if it ever crosses your superior mind that most people who watch actually know it is fiction and for half an hour just chill out with something undemanding for entertainment. We don't all come home after a days work to read a Dickens' novel or Wittgenstein's Tractatus. There are no rules on what people ought to find relaxing. If you cannot understand that then I suggest the 'low intelligence' jibe may need to be re-directed.
