Mo was easily my fave character of any soap. Not only did she deal with being raped. But she dealt with the horrific abuse and rape from Trevor as well prior to this…her finally standing up to Trevor was one of my favorite moments

She's the one who had a horrific crime committed against her and Billy couldn't man up, or at least, it took him long enough. The fact he expected her to murder her own baby and put herself through more trauma, rather than simply being there for his own wife is the most disgusting and selfish thing ever. Tells me if she got cancer or something, again, he'd only think about how this impacts him, like a typical little boy.

Indeed. And what's worse is that Grahame wasn't even the first person who raped Little Mo. Two years ago in December 2001, Little Mo got raped by her abusive husband Trevor Morgan. It was during that time that she'd been a victim of domestic abuse and physical violence at the hands of the evil Trevor. So I'd say that Little Mo has gone through a lot of trauma from her abusive ordeal with Trevor, which involved getting raped at one point, and then later getting raped again by Graheme that ultimately played a part in the breakdown of her promising marriage with Billy Mitchell.

She's lucky it got to court. Most rapes go unreported and those that do, very few get to trial and only a few of those result in a conviction. This is why many women do not report being raped. 😢

It's because of catch up services and the internet. At this period in time you had to tune in at 7:30pm or you would miss the episode or you'd have to watch the omnibus on Sundays (which are no longer a thing now since there is no reason for them again because catch up exists.) Nowadays you can watch whenever you want so the excitement and thrill of watching a show isn't as prominent anymore therefore making people subconsciously less excited and less inclined to watch. Times have changed.

Regardless of whether this story was well done or not, it was too much after everything (including rape) that Little Mo had already gone through with Trevor. Why they thought she should be raped again is beyond me. People complain about the cotdeath story with Ronnie being too much after everything she went through (and I agree) but I don't understand why they don't say the same about this as IMO this was even worse. It was just unnecessary misery.

It was after Trevor. Graham raped Little Mo just over a year after Trevor was killed in the house fire. Trevor died in November 2002 and Graham raped Little Mo in December 2003. Poor woman had so much trauma in her life tbh. I'm aware it's not real but how much can one person take?!
