Todd Howard uploaded a copy of his conscious mind into the game engine that Obsidian used. Obsidian reported unexplained random changes each work day. Many that they got fed up with reverting and just left. The Crystal Skull spoof was one of them. So yes, he was directly involved with that easter egg. Crystal Skull was probably the best Indiana Jones movie. People that hate it are probably the same people that cannot realize the cinematic genius of AVP:R, Robocop 3, The Last Jedi, Ghostbusters 2016, Home Alone 4, or Ocean's 12.

i think the guy forgot one. when you are in the battle for hoover dam, you can pick up a NCR radio broadcast. while listening to it and having the Wild Wasteland sruff selected. you can hear some wierd voice lines. sometimes you have to hear 30 times to the same few dialouges, but after a while you can hear the broadcaster say wierd thing's like: They're comming out of the wall's!! Aaah!!" with the wild wasteland icon flashing on your screen. just saying-

I got a grand Idea for an Easter egg! During 3 of the 4 main quest lines, The Courier has has the option to Kill Mr. House. IF you have Wild Wasteland while entering his resting place. You will see an old Tribal man, Hiding behind some curtains, And acting out as Mr.house himself. Because Mr.House died a hundred years ago. This old man read all the diary's of Mr. House, And now acts as if he is Mr.house. The Courier has the two options: Be evil and Kill the old man. Or. Be good and let the old man leave for good. This Idea would be an Easter Egg based off of the Wizard of Oz. The powerful ruler of the land is just an old magician.

I know I'm late to the party but looking at The Bomb @ 3:00 The One with the timer at 9999 or 6666 I thought this could be a reference to Number One in the series The Prisoner where Patrick McGoohan is given the Number 6 and is always asking Number Two who is Number One? It turns out that Number One is in fact a Bomb. It may have nothing to do with this, but it jumped out at me screaming that is was. Edited just to say: Still playing Fallout, DLCs, and Mods in 2021.

Jason Flieger I did too. I played New Vegas before I played three. I also found New Vegas more colorful. Not literally but I had a much richer overall experience. With that said Fallout three is growing on me like nothing else.

I played Fallout 3 at a friend's originally but never beat it, then played NV and loved it enough to play it through about nine or ten times. I just feel like the branching storyline in NV gives it a lot more replay value, and I feel like I have a lot less difficulty finding sidequests than I did in 3. I did eventually buy 3 afterward and beat it a few times, but I just don't get the urge to play it over and over like I do with NV. I'm actually building a Sunset Sarsaparilla shipping crate prop right now... lol

Jason Flieger To me, Fallout New Vegas had a much more interesting story with multiple factions fighting for control of New Vegas, while in 3 there was the generic "Find a missing relative/friend" plot. Also I preferred the world, factions, and characters in NV.

Few things though, pimpboy 3000 occasionally causes more glitches, Lincoln's head in Fallout 3 is actually recreated from the poster you acquire for the slaves, one of which is a sculpture, so Lincoln's head is never actually recovered. Lol bites on 2 quest lines, because I usually like to go to Brocflower cave as soon as possible for the Rodent killer rifle, which has some of the best stats & crits along with night vision scope in standard game.
