Hi Lisa!!! Your 2 preparing for Easter visits have really gotten me excited about our family's Easter dinner. I have my menu planned! And as I told you om another comment, I purchased new table linens. a beautiful runner and matching napkins. I plan tp do a dress rehearsal of my table setting in about a week. Hi Lisa! Watched part 1 and 2 of the Easter celebration and everything looks beautiful and delicious! Planning and using time wisely certainly makes such a difference. Also, cooking and baking recipes familiar to me helps my confidence. I love pretty table settings and because you are an adept hostess, you can have some fun with the decorations and flowers. Thank you Janice - all so true! Both of my grandmothers were confident hosts, but my sweet mom would get so anxious. I had to learn the dynamics and steps that created ease. And I realized a lot of women feel uneasy about hosting and the solution is learning exactly what you mention here. 😊

Lisa- I love the dresses you wear! They're a style I love! I wonder where you find your dresses & what brands they are??

Thank you so much Cindi! I do love dresses and wear a few brands that I can walk right into. Madewell, typically purchased at Nordstrom, usually has stretchable waists that make them very comfortable and their sizes are consistent for easy online purchases. Aqua is a Bloomingdale's brand that's reliable and has a decent price point, although their sizes can vary. Rebecca Taylor, Veronica Beard and Joie are my very favorite brands, by far, for dresses as well as blouses and pants. I also like Mille and BA&SH for dresses as well. Hope that helps!

Hello from Florida...I just happened to stumble across your page and I'm enjoying each video. I noticed your homemade vanilla extract. Can you share how you make it? Thanks.

Hi, I’m happy to share! I used a wide mouth glass jar with spring lid (if I can find it on Amazon I’ll add it to the description box below the video). Purchase vanilla beans and stand them up in the jar then fill it to the rim with vodka (yes, vodka!). It takes about 6 months for the extract to become useful. Shake every few weeks. Mine is about 2 years old and I add more vanilla beans and vodka as needed. It gets better all the time!
