James, I have never seen your videos before, I have just bought watercolor supplies and I am getting started. I came across your video and I immediately went back and watched your swatch dolls video, and I cannot wait to get started trying to recreate them. i absolutely loved both videos. Your illustrations are beautiful and enticing. You will not believe this bit, my husband works for an antique auction and estate company and he came home this weekend and said " I found some brushes I thought maybe you could use, I don't know if they are watercolor brushes or not" and then when I was going through the brushes I found this pencil that was red on one end and blue on the other and it turns out to be the same pencil you were using. How crazy is that? Anyway, I got a kick out of it, maybe it's not such a big deal, but it made my night and things haven't been going well lately with me so it was something to smile about. If I can create an illustration with what you taught us, or even a swatch doll, that is not embarassing, I will tag you and let you see. Thanks, can't wait to see more of your videos.

James, you can also find that cotton paper in Michaels. It's 12.99 I think so with a coupon it's Very affordable. I bought some from there for about $6 with a coupon

This was an awesome tutorial. Your creativity is truly inspiring. You make it all sound so simple, but you really make it your own with the details. I wish so much that you'd produce prints of some of your pieces. The bunny/chick in the egg by itself was incredible. The color scheme, the intensity of the eyes, the details.
