You have no shortage of talent. Just incredible. I find it so funny that you drew the yellow brick road because the house with legs makes me think of the legs from the Wicked Witch sticking out from under the house in The Wizard of Oz. I really appreciated the storytelling that you included too, it was so insightful to learn that about the animation styles! Oh and next time you're in your Family Guy phase, make sure you check out the animated series on Netflix called 'F is for Family'. Voiced and co-written by comedian Bill Burr. My hubby and I thought it was hilarious and binge-watched it in an embarrassingly record time hehe!

I can't wait to try this. I have so many ideas and it even makes me realize how simple creating a background for a painting can be. Also I loved the pastel houses in Edward Scissors hands too. Did you um... maybe have a sip (or 2 or 30?) of too much coffee?? (You are talking at about triple your normal breakneck talk speed!!!) I do not know how Sleeping Beauty wasn't a huge success because the summer it came out I went to EVERY showing at our local theater. My mother would drop me off and I sat through 2-3 shows in a row! Next day, same thing!! (The evening movie would be something else, more of a grownup movie, so I'd walk to my father's office and get a ride home with him. Come to think of it, it only cost a quarter to get in each day for as many shows as I sat through so possibly it didn't make much money. 😏) Anyhow, little houses are one of my FAVORITE things to draw!! Thank you for even more house ideas!! PS: try watching Spy in the Wild with Oliver. Spike LOVES that show!! He really does watch it, too!! (Zoe has a new kitten named Griffin Mackelroy (is that spelled right??) and he is the cutest black cat ever!!) Love as always, Msu

Reminds me of the animations produced by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises during the 60s and early 70s. There's probably good reason Mr Disney didn't like the look of 101 Dalmatians and mostly has to do with the fact that none of his feature length animation movies did as well as his first, Snow White. While Bambi, Dumbo, Pinocchio (which also had ground breaking animations along with Fantasia, mixing in live action) etc are considered classics today and still sell, they were largely a financial disaster and unpopular at the time of their release. Walt more than likely thought that doing something so completely out of the box, when his classic animations didn't sell, that this would be a flop too. He was wrong and that, more than likely, hit hard.

omg I though this was a stamp! how cool! Frankly (and don't call me frank, my secrit name is shurely) I'm new to all these journalings things but already exhausted at the prospect of wanting (let's be real it's a want not a need but omg WHAT A NEED) a thousand different stamps. WHO has that kind of money?! If they had that kind of money they wouldn't be buying stamps -- they'd be drinking fancy drinks on the Rivera while someone else stamped for them. :P
