Beautiful video, Donna I.hioe you are feeling better now after your vaccination. I feel almost duty bound to search for 'Alisons Easter Adventure' given the cover; we quite often wore our kilts for days out etc when I was little, and when we moved to our current village, the first Sunday in our new house, I looked out of the kitchen window and several small boys were going to church in their kilts, looking very angelic! I always remember that. Love what your said about one of the Easter books being 'imprinted' on you Muranda, that is such an apposite description, and is exactly how I feel.about favourite books. I don't even have to read them any more, they are just imprinted on me! X

I grow up with maps and clues for the finding of the Easter Egg! And now we do it for our kids and they love it as well! Easter “tree” is a most but we have colorful feathers in it plus small wood eggs to hang.

Your Easter tree looks beautiful, I love the Elizabeth Harbour decorations. With everything that we've all been going through it feels particularly important to mark occasions and enjoy the rituals, and chocolate. Lovely book choices, too. You are so lucky to know Christopher Brown, I have a great Miss Marple print by him that I bought at a St Judes sale - his work is so appealing and witty. Make the most of the lovely weather. What a sweet Easter tree! I love the way you decorated it - oh, it brought a smile to my face :D I also love The Country Bunny! My mom used to read that to me and I still have my hardcover copy. I have decorated my Easter tree which is autumnal this year, as still unable to come home to the uk,with my old family Easter decorations & your tree is adorable with delightful decorations & the spring blossom & catkins are 🌸🌸 lovely 🐣🐣🐣 I am sat watching & eating a chocolate chip hot cross bun.😀 while watching this afternoon. I have done some hard boiled eggs today 🥚 coloured with cochineal dye (pink) which is a tradition my Grandma would do & on Easter Sunday we would then go onto the North Yorkshire Moors, where my Grandparents farm is & roll our eggs & see who’s egg would go the furthest before a large family get together also with a leg of lamb & a homemade Simnel Cake, all decorated with marzipan eggs. Easter is celebrated just as much as Christmas too in my family. Today I have received provisions from home & Bettys, Yorkshire Gingerbread,Simnel Cake,Chocolate Praline Eggs & a Yorkshire Sloe Gin Fruit Cake,so we are all set for Easter weekend & beyond. What a beautiful tree, I’ve been looking at Elizabeth Harbour’s website after seeing your lovely tree decorations, I’m going to treat myself to one, or several 🤣 Don’t you just love it when you come across something you long ago put away for safe keeping and then immediately forgot where the safe place was!!
