this is the first time ive ever seen someone shove mud into a tree....can you explain that a bit more as to why that would be good for the tree? Mud is filled with bacteria, fungal spores, insect larvae and everything you'd imagine decomposing in the woodlands..why would shoving mud into a wound in a tree help it when trees naturally create resin to heal their wounds..?
