Amazing video sir! Such clear relief map and the orientation of rivers, hills and plateau helps a lot in visulaizing the topic. Otherwise, these topics appear to be of rote learning. Thanks a lot! for such a quality content.

The Chandragiri-Pottangi subrange is a part of the Eastern Ghats and is located near Koraput town in the Koraput district of southern Odisha, India. It is home to Deomali Peak, the highest peak in Odisha, which is about 1,670 meters tall ( sometimes, it's 1672 metres, the 2 metres is actually the forest height from the 1670 metres peak ) Sir you forgot this one too ❤❤❤

i searched for this range but nothing much is available except for this excerpt on wikipedia, you have to understand that there are many subranges in any mountain range and covering them all in one video is difficult. so focus was on mts/hills mentioned in books and reference used.

I think Kolli Hills and Cardamom hills are missed out

Cardamom hills are part of western ghats so it is covered in western ghats, and yes I do not know of kolo hills so I may have missed it

@@zetaupsc yes, I saw cardamom hill was mentioned in western ghats video. Thanks And Kolli hills has very strong historical background in Tamil literature. Having all said, you are doing a great job. Nobody spoke so deep about Indian geo . Keep going

Sir, the Odissa side of northern Eastern ghat, the tallest mountain is not Mahendragiri. It is mountain Deomali of Koraput district of southern odissa which is 1680 meters approx. Also we studied in school that it is the highest mountain of whole eastern ghat of India. Please recheck if it is true.

In the video I never said Mahendra giri is highest peak of eastern ghats or odisha. Jindgada peak of Andra is highest peak of eastern ghats. Deomali is highest peak of odisha

Hi dear doing a video on Saraswati river is great idea but there is no broadly accepted theory but there are different theories each with its pros n cons. If u have a good source then share its link and I will try to make a video on it

@@zetaupsc It will need plenty leg work and building up a communication network with the Geologists to build up an opinion. That being said there are some broadly accepted narratives and a few books already discussing on the topic. Links ... well ... I do not have any at the moment.

As you said sir, mechanism of formation of eastern ghats is not accepted unanimously. Can you atleast say eastern ghat or Western ghats which are older? In internet I've seen both answers. Please clear this doubt. Also little idea of formation..basic. Thank you

Aravalli 2.5 bya>esterghats 2.3bya> satpura1.8bya> vindhya1.8bya> western ghats 200mya> Himalayas 66mya Time is approx and remember most of the mountain were formed through several stages of orogeny spread over millions of years Most of these e ghat mountains were created by collision of cratons spread over billions of years

the process of formation of easternghatts is not as straight forward as others, it is more technical and there seems to be no uniform consensus as well. There is no need for that info in UPSC hence i as of now i have no plans for it.

Sirumalai hills at Dindigul and madurai district missed in this list.. they are final eastern ghats from north to south.. they are just east of palani hills.

Dear, as i had mentioned in the video that eastern ghats were not formed simultaneously nor they were formed by one single process or in one timeperiod. different regions were created through different mechanism. doesnt make sense to discuss each of it as it will not add much valley to learnign and will complicate the video

Please make a separate video of the formation of eastern ghats. Because its complicated it needs it own video. N its important. There are barely any video on the easten ghats formation

Making a video on Easter ghats formation is pretty complicated and of less relevance to cse, because the easternghats were not formed as one block but different parts were formed via different process in different time period and there is lot of technical discussion required for understanding it. Hence I decided not to make one

Since there are so many comments regarding the same unchecked it I found that most of the names pronounced are as we pronounce in my location, so kindly upload a video with correct pronunciation and send me the link for reference. Because the references I used have same pronunciation.
