Hail Augustus! Dominite of the East. I ask you to do one thing as a long run issue that has plague the east almost as much as Persian Hordes or the Nomads of the Scythian steppe. The Greeks of this Empire are a major population and while we have learned much from them were still seen as conquerors under foreign rule I lay 2 options before you lay the groundwork of bringing the greek and roman world together or stamp out any greeks clinging to there old ways for good. (aka either hybrid the Greco-Roman Cultures or Stamp it out for good im for the former option cause...your playing the eastern roman empire ffs) (also No not Charlemagne but its about to be the time of Clovis first Christian king of the franks and smacker of assholes who break pots.

I strongly suggest allying with Illyria, they are also Roman’s, and before moving west take out the Tanakabrds to secure your eastern border against the sassanids and also Tabuk

(Gonna be honest, forgot this channel even existed, all the same ave, true to rome.) Hail Augustus! I bring you grave news from the countless libraries of the Empire. Many countless invaluable texts that were once common, largely held in the west have been lost to lawless barbarians, or looted and sold away here even here out in the prosperous east only some of these texts are held in common. However there is much hope in a far off land known as Ireland. There they hold a vast wealth of lost texts in the possession that's been lost to the civilized world. (an Actual thing, basically you can thank random isolated Irish monastery's far away from the destruction, burning, and looting of everything not nailed down including texts that would be resultingly lost increasingly over time outside of these monasteries for modern western societies survival post Rome, ESPECIALLY a large amount of Christian texts) While they would likely release in time to restore civilization to Europe, if they fall to invasion, these texts will likely be lost. I Implore you, conquer, or at the very least protect Ireland from invasion so that Roman culture, and countless texts and knowledge may yet be preserved, or be forever lost to time. The longer Ireland is at risk, the worse their libraries will fare as there is only so many resources they can divert to preserve knowledge, and to help restore civilization to western Europe. And thus over time more and more will be forever lost, knowledge and culture that will be vital in the restoration of Rome itself, whole, and glorious once more.

Been there done that Julian the guy tried but got killed and before him diocletian REALLY tried, the empire has had enough division already the Christians aren't going anywhere it will putt the empire in yet Another crisis and with the Persians to the east and the Barbarians to the west it will be Insanity both figuratively and definition wise but it's the Emperors decision to try I'm just a senator with some basic knowledge on previous attempts at that, hopefully whatever His Imperial Majesty decided to do the East won't end up like the west.

@@magmaron9356 it's just a worry of mine it only takes a few things to go wrong and having the empire fighting it self could lead to another crisis like the 3rd century or worse now things are great but the 2nd century was a golden age as is seams our time is shaping up to be but as happened with Aurelian or Constantin thing's tend to get out of hand really quick I'm confident in the Imperial family's capability to restore Pax Romana it's just that I'm worry of what the future holds in for us to witness. anyway its Good to see that despite our defence in creeds we can discuss as Romas what is beast for the empire Vale fello senator.

@@user-ELIOS I too am glad to have you as my fellow senator. Though our future is uncertain I believe the Imperial family and senate can restore order in the west. However things in the east won't be as easy there are sassanids in there and who knows what other enemies.
