They could be my parents. All year round my dad has little kids coming up to him because hes Santa Claus. After my dad had triple bypass surgery we went camping and all the little kids started bringing him little presence because they thought that santa was sick because he had a scar. He can never leave anywhere with my dad and not be stopped by kids all the time.

My husband used to work at the hospital in Saginaw Michigan one Halloween before he became disabled he dressed up like the garbage man in a homemade costume from Sesame Street and visited the cancer wing that the children were in to pass out candy. It made his life and we still do as many kind things to pay it forward in our community because it fills our hearts with joy. Check on your neighbors this Christmas, take them a plate and shovel their sidewalks it only takes that to make them happy. Merry Christmas ❤️

I do as well. Thanksgiving and Christmas have always been my favorite holidays. The only time I'd usually see most of my extended family from other parts of the state and other states. Since my grandmother passed away about 20 years ago, and my mom a little over 3 years ago, its just become another day to me....and all the commercialization of everything and businesses trying to stay open on the only 2 holidays in the year that should be reserved for families to be together its just no longer Thanksgiving or Christmas.

I so agree. I have the biggest heart and wish to give to others in need, but unfortunately I'm just an average person doing average deeds. This gives me hope and also a sense of responsibility each year.
