Is the 1.75 nut width bothersome at all? I'm really considering ordering one of these, but I don't have the opportunity to play one beforehand as I would almost always try to do... tough decision

How does this compare to the T486? I’m torn between the two, only the 486 is available within driving distance so can’t try out the 484

Well it's hard to tell as I didn't a comparison among the two of them. I chose the 484 because I preferred a smaller body, above all for comfort. Obviously there are some differences in acoustics too. In general the biggest body of the 335s bring to more low end and a smoother attack while 339s has enhanced mids and a quicker attack (and somebody tells this equals to more versatility but I think it's quite personal)...

so I guess no way to crank the amp to get more OD at bedroom level, right?

At bedroom level it's difficult, either with the ppimv mk2, instead with the power station I have the chance to do it!
