Great show today! Many operators, many different techniques: slicing cookies to clean up logs, advancing the live deck and feed trough, etc. In time I believe you guys will perfect the process and make the best firewood the 22mb is capable of making. Nice of you to let the youngster sit in the captain's chair and have the conn of the ship. The next chapter of In The Woodyard is evolving well.

Adam & Bert are handy guys, suggest they throw together a set of grizzly bars or a tumbler to help separate the dirt/smaller slivers/junk from the good stuff. You could use the stand alone conveyor to then move the pieces to the trailer. Great vid & a good long one. Thanks & glad to see you used the adjustable spanner wrenches I sent you.

Good night Irene Good morning Irene,just like night and day. So Chris one of your Over 1000 videos you said your Brother has you try his Husqvarna. Well I purchased the 4?? Rancher. Cuts so much faster, better than Poland Pro. We hauled in 8 dump trailer loads of logs, free logs to get our fire wood inventory started. PS we did not take your advice on only buying when you have the cash. Well ok we did pay for not finance our Brute force 20-24 splitter. Picked it up Wednesday. We are cutting rounds first ( like you said do one think complete then the next) . I was on vacation from day job but will this weekend "Run that splitter" before going back to day job🤮. Maybe we should visit you and do a split off.

They are all full now. Going to need to get some more or nail some pallets together and make a box to put some in.

Got a good laugh when Chris was up by Kenny with his A-team. Then Kenny said, "My A-team is old and crippled." Kenny cracks me up. What he said is funny but true. Doing the hard work of making firewood is what keeps them healthy.

I know it is a lot easier on your body using the processor but I think you process wood faster using a saw and a splitter. Having equipment really makes things easier, if there is anything easy about firewood. That skid loader sure is a big help in so many ways. It is also nice to have good help to work with.
@thefirewooddoctor
@thefirewooddoctor Жыл бұрын
Equipment and help is key with a processor. If can get perfect firewood logs, like the kind Ohio Wood Burner gets, the Japa 405 and Perfect-split system is really fast. Absolutely ZERO respilts with the box wedge. Eastonmade would have a box wedge, but is an issue when it comes to the patents with Japa.

Not even close James , in the last 2 times we ran the processor (Maybe 12 hours total) we cut and split about 16 -18 FULL cords. In 12 hours I MIGHT be able to cut and split about 5 full cords.And I would not be able to get out of bed the next week! Ha!!!

Good video. If you had one more guy you could grab those big splits before they hit the conveyor and re-split on the Ultra. Re-splitting on the processor was time consuming. Thanks for the content.

Yes, that might work but it would take more than one person, the wood comes fast! About 1/2 of it will be resplit.

Chris, I know that you are aware of this by your headset comment, but for sure use good hearing PPE for that stuff. The long loud duration really does a number on the hearing if you are not careful. You can double up with ear canal inserts along with muffs.
