Finally the other side of the pond is starting to catch up with us over in Europe/UK. I’ve got an automated processor I show on my channel. Difference being you can walk around with a remote and let it do it’s thing. Nice work Andrew

Hey Andrew, I wonder if you've ever had a look at an Italian company called "Pinosa"? They make a processor that has an X-shaped wedge oriented 45 degrees from horizontal, and they can cut mostly square profile wood with the size adjustable by changing the rate of a conveyor feeding the rounds into the splitter. Looks like it could be quite a timesaver. Don't know if they have any patents on the idea, but theyv'e been selling them for quite a long time.

With the rubber in feed belt it will freeze down a lot.i have a homemade processor with the rubber in feed, almost every time I use it I have to make sure it spins before putting log on it
@tt600pch Жыл бұрын
Yeah buddy. We had a small log bucksaw system installed around 1997 where I worked. We replaced all the head pulleys with minimum 1/4 wall pipe, rubber lagged. Winter sucks with a belt conveyor in a pan open to the elements. Always froze down or slipping when wet. The pans were troughed a little bit to center the small logs. The belt always wore out in the center first. I do still see some value in a belt though.

I like that full auto cycle! I will stay with the 24 ton ram but add the conveyor. I am already envisioning how to use the 40C with the old Bells 2000 and a new 60C. At that price I see the 40C as efficiently helping with a no waste policy by doing the smaller diameter and crooked or short stuff. This frees up the larger machines to run closer to capacity diameter at all times! I like it !! I envision a single wedge, a three way wedge, and a four way wedge for the 40C
@jakebredthauer5100 Жыл бұрын
On a video I saw a 5-way wedge on a machine in Europe.

G'day Andrew, Heavy duty construction leading edge technology and a tungsten tipped circle saw blade, in my opinion if you're manufacturing firewood processors and using a bar n chain to dock the blocks your not fair dinkum 👍.

The belt would work good for slab wood also..
@scottsoper Жыл бұрын
That is a good point! I know a company that runs slab wood through a Bells 2000 but running it through this new 40C would let the Bells work on the larger wood. I am quite sure they can get their hands on all the slab wood they want at low cost!

Andrew, is the price point without a conveyor? And how much is the upcharge to go to 37 ton? This is without question going to be a processor that other companies will be chasing for years to come. Already extremely impressed.
@EastonmadeWoodSplitters Жыл бұрын
The 37 ton wont add much to the price. Its going to be 115k with a conveyor
@mjmtreeservicemaintenance2940 Жыл бұрын
@@EastonmadeWoodSplitters for that caliber of machine that is going to be the processor to get.

@rogerl8488 I would say volume per hour will vary depending on size of wood. The true test is how well crooked wood goes thru it.

@EastonmadeWoodSplitters Жыл бұрын

@jakebredthauer5100 Жыл бұрын
Not everyone has large diameter trees.
@bwillan Жыл бұрын
Exactly. I am a woodworker, so every time I see a bigger diameter hardwood log being cut up for firewood, it brings a tear to my eye. There are lots of smaller diameter trees that are thinned out as part of good forest management that should be used for firewood.
@scottsoper Жыл бұрын
@@bwillan Also collecting more tops from large trees cut for lumber can be used as firewood. The tops are usually not straight. On this machine if you can get about 4ft almost straight you can run it through!
