- Eastwood Aerosol-Injected Cleaner & Lubricator -
Item #12846z
Eastwood's award-winning Aerosol-Injected System directs a focused blast of cleaner or lubricant to penetrate deep into hard-to-reach places Our Aerosol-Injected Clean/Lube System was the 2011 Winner of Popular Mechanic's™ Magazine Editor's Choice Award for Product Innovation and Design! One of the key reasons was the engineered taper of each can's nozzle that creates a tight seal to force the cleaner or lubricant deep into the tool or tubing, without blowback.
Choose below from the Cleaner or the Lubricator...or both!
360-degree valves even spray upside down!
Ideal for cleaning or lubricating anything around the car, shop and home
Buy both and SAVE over individual prices!
- SAS Bandit Respirator -
Item #11455
The Bandit dual-cartridge respirator is ideal for painting, rust proofing, air-brushing and general maintenance projects. It is NIOSH N95 and OSHA approved and can be used in a professional environment such as a body shop. The half-mask is constructed of soft thermoplastic polymer for maximum comfort and a tight facial seal. The head strap is easily adjustable and ensures a secure snug fit around the top and bottom of your head. The filters are positioned for optimum vision and balance and have a life span of about 50 hours (conditions breathing rate and usage will affect filter life).

The PVC thing he was talking about, instead of mounting that vertically, mount it horizontal. If you build it, pull them apart once on the wall. It'll actually put a downward slope to the tubing. The advantage is, you can put a water separator at the bottom instead of a valve at the bottom of each spot and manually draining it. I used 3/4" residential copper for mine, but it was for cooling the air before it went into my tank so I didn't have a bunch of water in it. My setup is a commercial Sanborn unit that puts out 16cfm @ 175psi. Yes, the soldered together copper holds 175psi easy. I also plumbed my garage with 3/4" pex and used brass elbows, fastened with metal crimp rings. Zero issues, been using it like this for the last 8 years and I have dead dry air and no filter system. I spray all kinds of stuff too. Even bought a desiccant setup, it's indicating I don't have any moisture. Was kinda surprised to be honest. Didn't think it'd be quite as good as it is.

I should add, I'm probably 110 feet from my pump manifold. Maybe a bit more because of my copper "air dryer", plumbing and air hose.

Just used my Eastwood's Concours HVLP to spray their black Urethane Primer on my truck yesterday. I'm an not a pro painter but have painted a few cars in the past. Back then I used my old BinksNo. 7. There's no comparing the two. I used my Concours with my small compressor and used the 1:8 needle. It sprayed beautiful. I'm going to top coat using Eastwood's, Satin Black.

I am restoring a "59 Glastron boat (using high quality marine grade paint) and really appreciate Kevin's instructional videos on using a spray gun, how to practice spraying and fine tuning the different settings on the gun I've also watched Kevin's videos on block sanding which has been very critical in the quality I am looking for in the end. I plan on watching this video a couple more times before applying the final coat.

I got a lot of great information from these videos. The only thing I will do differently if I ever paint another car is my panel sequence. I followed the instructions here and found that it was difficult to paint the high flat surfaces without stressing, roof, hood, trunk. I would begin and complete all three coats of paint with the roof, hood and trunk. Then I’d finish the rest of the side work. Same with clear coat. This way I’m not worrying about my air line potentially rubbing against my work. Hard to juggle the high points on a step with the gun and the hose. Unless of course you enjoy juggling. Thanks!

You can plumb an airline with PVC. It will easily handle the pressure needed to run shop air tools. I've used black iron pipe before but you need to put particulate filters at the ends of your runs to catch any rust particles that break loose in the iron pipe. With PVC you can put your filters anywhere in the line that best suits your needs.
@cryMoreLoL
@cryMoreLoL Жыл бұрын
No you can not. Over time the pipe can become brittle and after several expansion cycles they burst, it will send shrapnel throughout the shop. You don’t know what you’re talking about.
