Wouldn't a 3/4 sizing work better on the river in hand 5 with QTs? V's folding range will be pretty much same (KJ,QJ,J9s,J8s, maybe some Ax, QQ if he doesn't 4bet pre). And his calling range will be unchanged (KQ). Maybe AQ and JT hero vs smaller sizing but they're both low frequency (we block both, AQ is sometimes 4 bet and sometimes checking back flop, sometimes betting turn, and JTo probably not represented, JTs probs betting turn).

awesome video. In hand #1 with A4s....do you have any 4bet bluffs? If so what does that range look like, and whats the worst hand you would 4b for value there? would love to hear carly and nicks thoughts on this. keep it up!
@eastyyy222 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I have no 4b bluffs vs the opponent in this hand and I'd probably go QQ/AK+ here!
@dont_hate_me89392 жыл бұрын
I agree with Nick. No need to balance your 4b range if you’re playing vs a recreational player. Depending on the type of rec I might consider 4betting a bit thinner for value vs that “pot juicer” size. Adding some AQs or JJ.

I would be wary about always "explaining away" or "defending" the decision you've made, not that I don't think it is real. It is just harder for the brain to store the new information, when it is indirectly being told "ah yes you are right, but at that time I was kinda right too". Something I try to apply to myself (and of course often fail with) Anyway thanks for the great content as always! And thanks to Carly - what an awesome woman! Firstly I love your content and think you are a solid player, however I think you need to buy in for 100bb - 120bb when playing live. Getting it all in pre with AK or even the AJ hand for over 200BB is not good. How you play is really solid at around 100BB but I don't think you consider preserving your stack in big pots. Live players have no bluffs in huge pots and play way looser pre and tighter post than online. Best of luck and keep up the good work !
@eastyyy222 жыл бұрын
Mate come on you want me to fold AJ?! Fair enough maybe AK but unreal results oriented to ask for the AJ fold. He doesn't need to be bluffing, I beat and chop value. Thanks for the good luck!
@diarmuidreidy35642 жыл бұрын
@@eastyyy22 as played you have to call the AJ hand definitely. To be fair the pros you have commentating and you are much better than me ! When I play I play a much lower variance style when I have such a large stack. I wouldn't raise the flop with AJ as you have little draws to protect against and realistically against competent players there is a limit to how much you can get from their Ax hands. Control the pot and raise turn or river if you don't face strong action. It's just easier to get the money in with 120BB in front of you
