I think this is the best food video I have seen ever because I counted you giving seven super easy, super delicious recipes... SEVEN !! You did it in the smoothest way I've ever seen anyone do a food video for multiple recipes before!! I sat down and paused and played and paused and played every desert writing them down with your channel name on my recipe cards and I thoroughly enjoying the commentary, such a relaxed family atmosphere!! I'm so glad I found this video... Your Channel !!!! Many hugs for each of your recipes.

For all of you freaking out about the sugar, I am sure people don't eat all of these all of the time. If you don't like the recipes then don't make them. I have made one like this and the reason you put the batter in the bottom is because it rises up through the fruit and becomes a nice crunchy topping. I know from this woman's accent alone that these recipes will be delicious. Great job!! Forget these nay-sayers.

On the apple pie filling with the crescent roll laid out on top in two layers, I think I would have baked the first layer for 10 minutes before adding the second layer, as it looked like the middle wasn't done.

Yea the dough looked completely raw when she cut into it 😮
@kimbruner8347 Жыл бұрын
I could not have eaten that. I have a thing about dough that had not been cooked completely. Making that dessert according to the given instructions sounds awful to me. Seriously gross. I have the same problem with the first recipe; placing cinnamon rolls on top of cherry pie filling. It doesn't sound appetizing to begin with, and the bottom of the rolls next to the cherries is going to be doughy and disgusting. It's inevitable.

@kimbruner8347 could you be any more rude? Likely not. But I bet you could be a lot nicer.

I’ve made this before and yes the Middle layer needs to be cooked about 10 min before the top layer is added. Or cook in a bigger pan as only one layer.

I learned how to make peach cobbler ages ago. Before self rising flour. 2 tbsp butter melted, 2 tsp baking powder. 2 cups each of flour sugar and milk. Place 2 cans of peaches ontop of melted butter. Mix dry ingredients and stir in milk, pour over peaches and bake for 45 minutes in a 350 degree oven. So it's basically 2 all the way around

The first dessert . . . the cinnamon rolls over the cherry pie filling . . . would have been improved by pouring some heavy whipping cream around the rolls, over the cherry filling. Then, making a slurry of brown sugar + melted butter + cinnamon + pinch of salt, and pouring that directly on top of the rolls. The rolls would have come out soft and fluffy overlying the cherry filling. Finish off with the vanilla frosting . . . or add some almond extract to the frosting before drizzling.

So far I've made the Cinnamon Roll dessert and the Peach Cobbler (1 can peach pie filling and covered with layer of frozen blueberries) with cinnamon/sugar on top.... so so GOOD!!! I'll be trying the apple cressent next, I've already bought the ingredients. I've also made the Fish with RedLobster bisquits (I did forget the butter in the bisquits but poured it over it when done), and chicken dinner with mushroom gravy and ranch seasoning... Very Delicious!!! Now, I have learning and true time blindness disabilities that are significant enough that I am legally disabled due to them and haven't been able to make things like banana and zucchini bread for many years on account of the number of steps involved since I've become an older Slow Folk but these recipes are so simple and your videos are so easy to follow that I've been able to make four of them so far without someone helping me not forget any steps, although I made one recoverable mistake with the fish dinner. The peach cobbler is so good, I plan to make it for my neighbor and from now on I'll always be able to afford (on my ssi income) to make on my own a wonderful treat to bring to my hosts whenever I'm invited to lunch or dinner instead of a store bought dessert. I'm subscribed and thank you very much for the way you demonstrate your videos... keep his "commentary" , ignore/block the trolls 🩷🧁💕

What are crescent rolls. It looks like pastry??
@sandyv219510 ай бұрын
It's an American convenience product, a sort of bread dough. You pull the dough apart at the perforations, roll it up to form a crescent shape, then bake. But the same dough is often used in other ways, to make other things as the woman here has done. Google "Pillsbury Crescent Rolls" for the product information as well as probably a ton of ideas for using them on other ways.
