I have always had a fear of canned biscuits- praise Jesus we made homemade buttermilk biscuits from Granny’s recipe but I digress. Anyway, 4 years ago my fear of canned biscuits came to fruition. It exploded like a flipping bomb. Dough everywhere- hair, ceiling, cabinets… and I thought my thumb and index finger were actually blown off. I should have listened to my instincts.

The type of sausage is thought to have been developed hundreds if years ago in Frankfurt, Germany. Thus ..."franks". Just like Wein is German for Vienna... and sausage from there was called Vienna sausage or in German Weinwurst...which when Americanized it became weiners. Ha ha ...way too much information. I will definitely make your recipe.
