I made this recipe tonight. 45 minutes at 350 is way too short a time to cook this in a standard casserole dish. Do the 45 minutes covered in foil, then stir it up thoroughly, and pop it back in the oven uncovered for another 30 minutes. It was tasty. There's a lot going on in this dish.

I did the same thing you did. next time i will hold off putting on that top layer of cheese and bacon until after the 45 minutes and ive stirred it..then I'll top it with cheese and bacon The dish was very tasty.

Pro tip.. pour the broth, can of soup and ranch packet in first and mix well.. then add the rest of your ingredients to your already combined sauce.

Replace the ranch seasoning with taco seasoning and you have an entirely different Mexican flavored dish. Maybe even swipe out the red pepper with green or jalepeno!

​, me either. I might make something like this, but instead of cream of chicken canned soup, I'd make my own white sauce and add chicken broth. But other than the canned soup, and boxed chicken broth, everything else was okay. She used Real onion, peppers, parsley, and shredded cheese, and real bacon (I'd just cook extra bacon in place of the bacon bits. I don't know too many people who make their own yogurt (I have made my own, but as small of an amount that she was using was fine.) I rarely eat pasta, and even more rarely make from scratch pasta.

And we just ate and an above mid-priced restaurant and my husband came down with food borne illness, likely because someone didn't wash their hands after using the restroom, or something, before plating his food. We won't be going back.

@@jessicalinbarnett I wish there was a way I could share pictures unfortunately I don't know how to make a short but the entire cake is gone and this was my second time making it if you have not seen that video all it is is a yellow box of cake mix a can of Mandarin oranges four eggs a cup of oil mix it all bAke at 400 for 40 min. Then mix 8oz of Cool whip half a can of crushed pineapple & jello vanilla pudding just mix all of that together MIX WELL Dry vanilla pudding in that pineapple & cool whip put it in the refrigerator let it chill when your cake cools spread out over top the cake Today I added slivered almonds all over the top. We have less than half of a cake left and no family even came by it's only me and my husband & our 3 teen/grown kids came over to try it out

Kristen love your recipes! Here is an easy dessert…..no bake. In a 9x13 glass dish put ice cream sandwiches along the bottom and then use a container of cool whip and spread over the top. Then I use either chocolate or caramel syrup and drizzle it all over the cool whip then top with your choice of crushed candy. Ps love your love of cheese….I’m from Wisconsin and love my cheese and you use Walmart ingredients……being a Walmart employee, thanks for your support, and it makes making your recipes so much easier knowing I can get all the ingredients!

living with a cat in your home exposes your family to the diseases cats are known to carry. doesn't mean people shouldn't or can't have cats in their home. but, consider that cats use litter boxes so their feet are exposed to bacteria not good for humans. if i changed my socks or tied up my shoes, i would wash my hands with soap before handling food. so handling a cat is the same for me. it's not hater advice to wash hands after handling a cat. it's good advice and i think kindly meant. hope kristin takes this advice.
