Any time. For sure. It looked nasty. Cheap and easy to do as well.

With the gym being semi closed that was hard work. Old people like me can't just get back to normal too quickly! Lol I think I was winded.

Enjoy your videos your cars are awesome , The shop where I get my Vette serviced has a machine that changes the fluid and I have it done at every oil change.

Pretty cool video Jason! Do you love the Z06 more than your Grandsport?
@FrontSeatDriver4 жыл бұрын
Hi, Clarence! Yeah, I do. I love the color because it pops so well. The biggest thing though is the transmission. I love having a stick. Such a different driving experience. Hope you're doing well. C8 looking great!

Unfortunately you can't get it all out that way a lot sits in the line and slave cylinder. A lot of pain for a change using a vacuum bleeder may work better. I installed a 4' bleeder line at the slave with a speed bleeder end on my Mantic Triple. Jusy pop the hood and bleed. Just my 02.

I will check that out. Honestly, it's not too big of a deal if you're just hanging out doing some car maintenance stuff and bs'ing though. Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a great weekend!!

Hi guys... I have a stupid question for you if you don't mind! I bought my 2016 Z06 yesterday from a Chevy dealer. It was complaining that the windshield washer fluid is low. I can't believe the dealer gave me the car in this condition... (also none of the steering wheel controls are working including the HORN). I have an appointment to bring it back on Wednesday to have that stuff fixed. Because it was a Saturday, they said they have no mechanics on staff. Anyway, I am trying to add washer fluid... but I don't know where it goes. The previous owner of my car put these sweet looking chrome caps with the corvette logo on all the caps in the engine compartment... so now it's not necessarily self evident. From your video it looks like the washer fluid goes into the cap closest to the fender on the drivers side, but I want to be sure! Can you help me out?

Okay Jason, what am I missing? I know, I know. A few IQ points, but nevertheless. Why are you using brake fluid as clutch fluid? Are they one and the same? The Z is looking good my friend. Save the Wave🙋🏼♂️
@ProtectiveDadPranks4 жыл бұрын
Peter Carey - Hey there Peter. Clutch fluid is really just brake fluid that is kept in the clutch master cylinder. ... The pressure of the fluid is then used to engage the clutch, which allows you to change gears. After the clutch has been engaged, the clutch pedal will be released, and the fluid will retreat back to the clutch master cylinder. The most important thing for the C7 Corvette is making sure it’s DOT 4. Thanks for watching us knuckleheads LOL.

What Steve said. Lol! How's it going, Peter? Hope you're having a great week!
@petercarey68834 жыл бұрын
Hey Jason. Thanks for your reply. You cheated though. You made Steve do all the typing. 😁 Thanks to Steve's reply though, I recouped a couple of my lost IQ points. The question now is, how long will they last? 🤔 They are endangered you know. Ride with pride guys!

It’s been a while so I do not recall. It’s definitely time I do it again though.

Hello liked the VID but the DOT 4 is not specified for my 2015 stingray automatic Transmission, will the DOT 3 do the same
@FrontSeatDriver2 жыл бұрын
The Dot 4 is actually brake fluid but works for the clutch. You will need transmission fluid for your transmission. I would contact a mechanic to replace your fluid.

I just used a turkey baster to remove the old fluid
