I am impressed with your teaching ....you are a clear and knowledgeable instructor. I paint professionally and teach in-person classes, but enjoy seeing how others teach and what I can gain from watching. Thank you for your generosity in sharing your teaching with others.

I agree with the previous comment. These follow along formats are my favourite style of tutorials for KZbin. Not too long and enough to help me practice both sketching and painting techniques. I’ll be trying this one out later today 😁 and looking forward to the next few weeks. I love your teaching style. Very clear with great explanations ❤

Thank you Emily I've watched hundreds of watercolour KZbin videos but this is the first one that I've painted along with and I'm very pleased with the result. It's all down to you and your clear guidance. I enjoyed the bitesized length of the video as well

Great tutorial!! Just an FYI, It's actually a winter dumpling squash, and you captured it perfectly!! So cute and easy. Keep doing these tutorials, It helps us to see the Magick along with you and your instruction keeping us from doing things we need not to, is a great aspect of learning. Thanks for teaching us your style and technique.

This is very helpful. Possibly the most difficult part of watercolour, for me at least, is controlling the water. You've provided some clear pointers on how to do that. Thanks.

Oh, this would be a perfect one to repeat a few times and play with colors and textures, since pumpkins are so varied anyway! I seem to learn a lot from doing several iterations of 1 painting, but don't always have the patience to repeat! I think this one will be short and sweet enough to not challenge that!

I just love your teaching method: always clear and, importantly, honest about when things go wrong as well as when they go right but how you can rectify it to end up with a great painting. Thank you for this, I am going to try to do these in a watercolour sketchbook so I can (hopefully) see how I progress. One day I will get organised to do the daily challenges in your Watercolour Mastery course…I have watched loads but not put brush to paper yet! Hopefully, this will give me a kick start.

Love all of the wonderful tips and info packed into this video!! Thank you so much! I will be recommending this to others I know who are learning watercolor. Do your watercolor mastery videos have this much teaching?

Thank you so much for sharing! And YES, the Daily Challenges in my WM Membership are this same format-20 to 30 minutes of sketch/paint real-time instruction, fun projects released every weekday. 🙂

Very nice. Can you share what paint colors are on your palette, please? I noted that they are different from your palette used in your online classes. Thank you.
