I always wonder why cooks put things in the smallest possible container to mix! It is so much easier to be able to stir things without slopping it all over the place with a bigger measuring cup. I use parchment paper to be able to lift things out of my baking pan. Thanks for the simple fudge demo. I'm going to make it tomorrow. Hint... we like it when the cook tastes the item for us.

It's the only way I make fudge, and people think I slave over it. I make it with all flavors and kinds of chips, dark, semi, milk, peanut butter ones, butterscotch, all the specialty kinds. The all time favorite was the year I found raspberry-chocolate chips. Sometimes I add chopped pecans, sometimes crushed peppermint, sometimes sprinkle with caramel salt. Usually just plain with sea salt inside and maybe a scatter on top. I use wax paper, less wrinkles on bottom of fudge.

@tinak.30225 жыл бұрын
@@princessbreeleespencerspen3512 Use 2 cans of the sweetened condensed milk. Do not use the easy open cans. Boil completely covered for 2 hours on high (remove paper labels). Add water as you go along to keep the cans submerged the entire time. Let the cans cool only a little bit. You want it to be pourable .Caution it will be really hot. I pour mine into a glass bowl and add pecans. Mix up and if you let it cool too much, put in microwave for 30 seconds intervals. I pour into a Graham cracker pie crust that I buy at the store. Cook according to directions on package. (Make sure to cook the Graham cracker crust while the cans are boiling away to give it time to cool down prior to pouring the filling into the pie crust.) Leave on counter covered after serving. Don't put in fridge. It will get too hard. I serve mine with cool whip. This is such a simple recipe and it's super easy.

I find it easier to melt the chocolate first, right in the tray you wish to serve it in, on a double boiler. After that just add the SC milk and instant fudge is formed.....you will need to have enough strength though, to churn the tough mixture into a uniform shape. After that, just chill, cut into desired sizes and eat !
