We've fared well through Milton and every storm we've faced during our three years here, beginning with Ian. All we had to do was clear the oak leaves that blew over from the church across the street and clean our windows. We're grateful, as just a few blocks away, many people lost everything, with over 4 feet of water flooding their homes

We did great with Milton and every storm we've experienced in our three years here, starting with Ian. We only had to rake up the oak tree leaves that blew over from the church across the street and wash our windows. We are thankful, as so many, even just a few blocks away, lost everything with 4 feet or more of water in their homes.

The idea I had in mind for my first router table yet to be made was to use a larger vacuum hose attachment fixed at the end of the table (left side) at 90 degrees and have it move down as the work piece moves on top of it and come back up when i remove the piece using a spring or something. Think of it as a bmx starting gate. Though my method would require extra wood pieces for holding the hose and the attachment fixed on the side of the table. Having your hole as close to the plate as possible looks like a better compromise. Would suction be good enough for a hole twice as deep (front to back of the table) ?

I was surprised by how effective the dust collection was, just based on the location of the suction port.

Catching dust in the stream is the biggest issue people over look.. I learned this on a router BOX I recently made. When he says there is no dust he’s right there is no dust catching it in a stream it so awesome and it looks cool too.
