Best way to configure the Raid 0 is 2 SSDs, each connected to a thunderbolt. Then you get almost double the speed.

Good idea but 2500MBps is plenty for any task on a Macbook already. So really Raid0 just doubles data loss risk with no real benefit, both Final Cut and Capture One are loading all files instant even with the old single slot Acasis dock. I still kinda prefer the old single slot drive. This double dock is only if you really need to max the storage with two SSDs.
