Allah is the word,which combines the definite article ال( the) and إله (god) which makes the meaning that,The god who deserves all the characteristics mentioned in the quran.In this lesson,Being Allah is possesor,ال is not removed because of defitiness of his oneness.ال in the Allah will never be removed in any case.

Aslamoaliekum... These are such beautiful lessons mashaAllah and I saw you answer every question very gently mashaAllah.... Thankyou for this.... I am also having one....in the example SON OF MUHAMMAD - it is ibnu muhammaddin but ibnu is having a nun why we didn't remove it?
@SiratAlMustaqeem
@SiratAlMustaqeem 5 жыл бұрын
The noon is removed when there is 'aani' or 'ayni' or 'oona' or 'eena' at the end. Like - Muslimaani, Muslimayni, Muslimoona, Muslimeena. Here the root word is Muslim, and aani, ayni, oona, eena are the suffix added to it. When the root word itself ends with noon, like (ibn, jinn, teen, furqan) then these words will have tanween over them, and only the tanween will be removed. Also note that, the dual form of ibn is ibnaani or ibnayni... Now in this case aani or ayni is suffix and here noon will be removed. Son of Muhammad. → ibnu Muhammadin Two sons of Muhammad → ibnaa Muhammadin (ibnaani became ibnaa)

Salam brother , ive got one question .. if i learn modern standard arabic grammar is it much diferent from classical quranic arabic grammar? Same or diferent structures,words, etc?Ive got intention to learn both . Ive a bit knowledge of maroccan darija and Qur'an arabic im starting deeply now..wich grammar should i pick? Quranic or MSArabic? Sorry for being a question out of the lesson. Salam

Modern standard Arabic & classical (standard)Arabic a.k.a quranic Arabic are almost the same thing, we call both of them as fusha. Some of the differences are quranic Arabic has a touch of balaghah (rhetoric@literature) , use of nun tawkid (nun for emphasis), rare exceptions in grammar(the standard rules almost 100% used,don't worry too much) and use of qiraat in it etc.

@wafazk

Wslm. Since ustad hasn't replied, I'm replying. Aulaadin means boys not boy. It is case 3 of the plural of waladun. Whereas the case 3 of waladun is waladin.

Assalam u walaikum sir I have a question is that... In last u wrote ' ka'abatun baitul lahi ' I am confused with this plz explain why.. because if we follow the possession rules 1. Possessed is always light. Than why possessed word end with Tanween. Like Ka'abatun baitul lahi. Jazakallahu khair
@SiratAlMustaqeem
@SiratAlMustaqeem 5 жыл бұрын
Baytullahi = Baytu Al-ilaahi Baytu = house (Case 1, Light) Al-ilaahi = the God (Case 3, with Al) Kaba'tun Baytu Al-ilaahi "Possessed + Possession" phrase is Baytullahi. You misunderstood Kab'atun as such.

@SiratAlMustaqeem
@SiratAlMustaqeem 6 жыл бұрын
Afroz Saifi No you cannot write that... Possessed word will never have Al, & Possessor will ALWAYS have Al (except in case of Names) This is how you understand that this combination of two words is Possessor-Possessed

@SiratAlMustaqeem
@SiratAlMustaqeem 7 жыл бұрын
Mole Bannana Alhamdulillahi = Al Hamdu Li Allahi This is NOT Possession. Al Hamdu → The Praise Li → For (Harf) Allahi → Case 3 (Because the word Allah follows a Harf) So, Al Hamdu Li Allahi → The Praise (is) for Allah

Son of Mohammad translated as 'Ibnu Muhammadin'. However, 'Ibnu' ends with noon (I.e.it is heavy ism) and as per this lecture it should be light. Please help...
@SiratAlMustaqeem
@SiratAlMustaqeem 2 жыл бұрын
If there is a noon in the root word itself, then that noon will never be removed... ibn means son. Here noon is part of the word. But if we say two sons = ibnaani Then in 'ibnaani' the 'aani' in the end of ibn is addition... Such noon will be removed to have the word light. 'ibnaani' will be just 'ibnaa' to make it light.

Al is never used with names. Why Al Hind, Al I'rak?
@saadabadullah7533
@saadabadullah7533 4 жыл бұрын
Never used with names of people (or angels, jinns etc)... Even though, if the name itself is Al-walid. Then the name itself contains Al, then Al will never be removed from that name. Basically, we leave the name as it is. We don't force Al in or out of the names. As for Al-Hind, Al-Iraq, Al-Makkah... Al is already almost always used with the names of arabian cities or arabised names cities and countries. Means India is the name of country, but Hind is it's arabised form. Egypt is the name of country and Misr is it's arabised name.

ibn muhammad, why you let the "possessed" word ibn finish with N ?
@luckylefty4740
@luckylefty4740 4 жыл бұрын
ibn itself is a word for son, its not the plural or dual form just like الذین (read as al lazeena) is a word itself not a definite form of a word.
