I used vivid vinyl tint for mine, I know you like the white lines , but the vinyl you’ll have a clean smoked or blacked look

If I finish following the steps, and I decide I want the tail lights to be darker after i polish them, can I just west sand them and go over it with another layer of VHT and clear coat? Or do I need to remove all of it?

No but it’ll fade over time unless you put clear coat over it another guy said. I last applied it in Nov 2019. When it fades just reapply. Again mines last for about year before fading off

Video 13. How long this will last? You wash Red so much I'm pretty sure you will have to do this again. Why not use some limo window tint? I saw a video of someone doing the headlights with a heat gun. Or get some pinstriping tape to outline the white then fill it in with the blue tape.

The first time I applied it was Nov. 2019. So it lasted about year. Just reapply if need be thats the good part. I didn’t want crazy dark this just something temporary to I get some OEM LED tailights

Tint is way too hard to apply to the 18-19 years. There’s a separation in the lights. The tint will peel off.

Man, I love your content and your passion and honesty is really great to experience. I can't back you or anyone else on this mod. Rear lights are hard enough to see as it is in almost perfect weather. No matter the environment...day, night, rainy, sunny...Shaded tail lights are unsafe for you your passengers, and those who are driving around you and depend on seeing them to make judgements with their family in a 2 ton vehicle traveling 60 mph on a total of about 1.5 sqft of contact patch. It's just unsafe for everyone under any circumstance...Just my 2 cents.. Other than this, I LOVE what you got going on!!!!
