@JackiePeacock Жыл бұрын
Thank you. I appreciate that, because I love simplicity in my paintings. I'm glad you like it, too. For the trees I believe I used lamp black by Daniel Smith, and I may have had some Deep Sap Green in there as well. I didn't list it or mention it in the video from what I can see. Sorry about that. ...I watched this whole video and my drawing looks *so bad* It's not your fault, this is an incredible video and I'm sure you helped so many people, I just have such a hard time with watercolor. I'm 19 years old and my painting looks like something a 5 year old would draw. It's just really frustrating when you try so hard but the result turns out bad. I made a lot of mistakes
@JackiePeacock Жыл бұрын
I'm so sorry you're feeling this way! I get it, though. It's one of the hardest parts of being an artist, and I get these same feelings today. Some days you paint something incredible, and others it's like you've never picked up a brush before. I've been painting landscapes for a while now, but I'm thinking that for future videos I'll try to make them even more simple in the sense of steps to take, or try to make the videos in a step-by-step way that's easy to follow. But I know that with time and continuing to paint and NOT falling into the comparison trap, you'll get the painting you want and love it. Thank you for sharing this with me, and I wish you a better painting experience.
