So very pretty Harriet! I love these colors on earth and miss them so much. The only way we see them in Florida is by viewing the sunrises or sunsets. BTW, thanks for liking my Florida sunset paintings over on Instagram. I had so much fun painting them and can’t wait to give them out in Colorado starting tomorrow. Love your short hair too. Question: When you add each color, you explain the technique as far as leaf shape, brush stroke, etc. But would you please tell us where you are choosing to put the colors? You seem to have a method, but I am not sure how you choose where to add each darker color. is it to the bottom, like shading? Is it to the outside of the tree because the leaves have more color on the outside? My tree comes out more chaotic. :(
