Hi ... love the tutorial. I understand your measurements for the long dimension but you didn't tell me how to figure up the width. Can you explain that? Thanks

measure right around the pillow to get the width. if you are using one panel, divide the measurement by 2. remember your seam allowance.

I think I missed the part where you explained how you got the width of the fabric. I understood the length for the short side was cushion length + 2 (1/2 height) + 2" for double hem and the long side with the overlap was length + 2 (1/2 height) + 6" + 2". How did you get the width? Would it be the width of the cushion + 2 (1/2 height) + seam allowance?

Width is mid point on one side to mid point on the other side, plus seam allowance. You can also measure from the top edge of one side to the bottom edge on the other side of the cushion form, plus seam allowance.
